A young girl, a 1-year-old, got a new hairdo, which hilariously caused her to resemble the characters in the beloved 1980s sitcom The Golden Girls.
Undergoing a change or updating a trusted, tried and true routine is never easy. People are creatures of habit and rely on the familiar. Whenever that becomes disrupted, people can become upset, frazzled and left searching for answers.
But a little change every now and then isnt such a bad thing, right? For instance, updating your wardrobe or trying a new dish at your favorite restaurant isnt likely to throw your entire world out of whack. However, one little girls seemingly insignificant change has received a lot of attention.
In a video posted on YouTube, Evelyn Maes grandmother, who is a hairdresser, decided to change up her granddaughters hairdo. She gave the youngster a bouffant. After her new hairstyle, a video of Evelyn rocking her new hairstyle was posted on TikTok.
I just blew it out and teased it, and then this is the finished product, Evelyns grandmother said.
The short, 18-second TikTok clip shows the child sporting her new hairdo as she moves about to the iconic theme song from The Golden Girls. The selection of music is very fitting as little Evelyn resembles those four beloved characters in both hair and even clothes to an extent.
Now, the only question remains: who does the child most closely resemble? Most people are likely to say that Evelyn is almost a dead ringer for Betty Whites Rose Nylund character. However, I think anyone could make a valid argument for any of the other three characters Dorothy, Sophia and Blanche.
Who knows, perhaps there are three other youngsters out there with similar hairstyles and looks who will all get an apartment together in southern Florida and provide us with plenty of laughs for years to come. Why not? Theyve rebooted or reinvented every other sitcom from the 80s and 90s.

A group of baseball players took a timeout during the middle of a game to recreate the iconic scene from Dirty Dancing.
Everyone has a favorite movie they could watch and probably have watched hundreds of times without ever getting tired of it. Its also likely that we could easily recite nearly every single line of dialogue from that beloved film. For whatever reason, we connected with those scenes, characters and the films story, and now its forever etched in our brains.
For many people, Dirty Dancing is one film they could watch repeatedly. But even if you havent watched the 1987 film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, youre likely familiar with it or at least know of one scene from the flick. In the movies most memorable scene, Johnny and Baby put on a dance performance as Time of My Life plays. But the most iconic part of their routine involves Baby running and jumping into the air as Johnny catches her and spins her around.
The Savannah Bananas is a team that plays a different kind of baseball. Their game is infused with fun, silliness and even a dance routine. In a clip posted on Facebook, the guys stop in the middle of a game and recreate that scene from Dirty Dancing, jump, catch, spin and all.
In the short, 2-minute clip, the song begins playing as two of the players lip-sync those timeless lyrics. Several of the players even start strutting their stuff right on the diamond, much to the delight of the fans in the stands.
The fans love the synchronized dance number from the group of players. They shout and respond with a thunderous round of applause.
Who doesnt want a little bit of fun and silliness with their baseball every now and then?
Psalm 149:3 Let them give praise to his name in the dance: let them make melody to him with instruments of brass and corded instruments of music.
Legendary comedian and actor Tim Conway experienced quite the adverse reaction following several shots in a hilarious skit from The Carol Burnett Show.
Most people dont enjoy visiting the doctor. Those visits to medical professionals become even more dreaded when those stops include shots. While shots and vaccines are necessary to keep us safe and healthy, who enjoys being stuck with a needle? No one, thats the answer.
However, Tim, in a hysterical skit, doesnt mind shots all that much. Tim appears in the sketch alongside Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman as a couple of doctors celebrating at a restaurant. Tim is Dr. Percy, who volunteered to take a variety of shots, hoping to find a cure for the Swine flu.
Everything seems great until Tim runs out for a moment. But when he returns, there is something noticeably different about him. As usual, when Tim and Harvey are in a sketch together, Harvey has a hard time keeping it together.
Harvey cracks up as he watches Tim munching down on a banana peel. Somehow, Carol is able to keep it together throughout the skit.
Then later, near the conclusion of the nearly 8-minute skit, Carol also begins experiencing a similar reaction to Tim.
The Carol Burnett Show, even decades after it was on television, continues to keep people howling with laughter. Harvey, Carol and Tim genuinely seemed to like and appreciate one another.
At times, it almost seemed to be a competition between them to see who could get the other to break character first. Im going to say that Tim was likely the winner of those possible
competitions. Harvey, who seemed to always play the straight man, was always laughing as he does yet again in this sketch.

One comedian, Matt Mitchell, has created 10 hilarious proposals he believes restaurants should consider moving forward with immediately.
Eating is a favorite activity for nearly every single person. Thats one of the reasons why holidays, especially the Christmas season, are so popular. Delicious food is in abundance at family gatherings.
But family gatherings and home-cooked meals aside, everyone has a favorite restaurant and a preferred meal or dish at that particular establishment. But when it comes to food, is perfection attainable? Cant a food, dish or even a restaurant always be tweaked and improved?
Comedian Matt Mitchell believes that restaurants and their food can always be better. To achieve this, he has provided 10 ways in which he thinks restaurants can become better.
Matts first proposal involves the word restaurant itself.
Number one: Lets make restaurant easier to spell first, he suggests. Thatd be cool.
His second proposal involves Chick-fil-A making a menu item more readily available to its legions of committed fans.
Chicken mini should be available all day long, he states. Its real simple Chick-fil-A.
He adds there are no excuses for the chicken chain not making the chicken mini always available.
Another proposal is for Firehouse Subs. But, as he mentions, it goes for all fast-food chains that implement a rewards program.
Stop changing the rewards! Matt said. I was this close to earning a free party tray from Firehouse, and they took it away from me. And now, what am I supposed to use my 10 million points on?
He also includes more hysterical and oddly relatable suggestions for other popular chains such as Burger King, McDonalds, Taco Bell and Cracker Barrel.
But at the end of the video, Matt singles out one fast-food chain for special recognition: Hunt Brothers Pizza.
You just keep doing you, baby, Matt says. Youre not even a restaurant. Heck, youre barely pizza, but youve never once deceived us.
