You don’t want to miss Michael J Fox’s classic first appearance on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. 

1985 was a big year for Michael. It was the year when he starred in the role of Marty McFly in the now-classic movie hit, ‘Back To The Future.’ It was also the year when first appeared on the Tonight Show. 

The commentary between Johnny and Michael is humorous as Johnny pokes fun at Michael’s short height and how his short stature always seemed to work out for him. Because he was not overly tall, Michael said he could star in roles for a 10-year-old even though he was 15 at the time.

Michael then shared how he couldn’t find any work for a year, so he sold sections of his couch. We all remember the days when we first start off on our own and try to make ends meet while living on a meager budget. 

Apparently, it was no different for Michael too! When he finally started making a decent amount of money, he shared how excited he was to buy his first house. He joked, “When I got it and moved in, I put a lawn chair in the middle of the empty living room and just said, “‘Mine. Mine. Mine.’”  

The rest of the conversation is fun banter as Michael shares his experiences in making the hit film, Back To The Future, as well as personal experiences like having a ‘lady friend” he claims he had been dating for a while!

Michael shares how it was a weird situation in the film when he went back in time and sat down to have dinner with the girl who would become his mother, unbeknownst to her. Laughing about how awkward it is having your ‘mom’ make moves on you, Michael joked about how he managed to get himself into some comical real-life situations too.

A grandma’s touching serenade to her bedridden husband will make you teary-eyed. 

It is so precious and sweet. It makes me hopeful that my husband and I will be just as in love as these two when we get older. In a loving display of affection, filled with patience and appreciation, this grandma tenderly touches her husband’s face as she sings him to sleep. 

It’s evident that this woman serenades her husband often. How she moves and sings seems like a habit that has developed over time. While he lies unmoving in bed, she cleans off his chest. Then it seems as if she is blessing him with the movement of the cross on his cheeks and forehead before resting her hand on his chest. 

Often when we think of love, we think of young couples, weddings, and starting a family. But the goal is to love and serve each other all the days of our lives. 

A good example of that comes from the Bible. In the story of Ruth, Boaz and Ruth’s relationship didn’t start because of a crush. Instead, it started slowly through acts of service. Eventually, their relationship turned into a deep love and marriage. 

I’m so happy this precious moment was captured on camera and shared with the world. It makes me wonder how we can serve our loved ones in ways that make them feel loved. 

It’s not often we think of love as we age or what love will look like as we get older. Thank God for enduring, steadfast relationships that endure through the course of our lives. We praise him for the ability to touch, hold, and love family members in the here and now, much like this beautiful video.

10-year-old, Jadyn Rylee goes viral with an epic cover of Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene.’ You don’t want to miss this performance. 

Jaydn is so talented, her voice gave me chills upon chills as she performed. ‘Jolene’ has been one of Dolly’s biggest hits of all time. Released in 1974, Jolene has been the number-one hit for any woman whose heart has been broken. But Dolly says the song isn’t just about jealousy and broken hearts. 

One night when she was performing, a little girl asked for her autograph. Dolly thought this sweet little girl was absolutely beautiful. As she was signing the autograph, she asked the little girl what her name was.  

Dolly said, “Well, you're the prettiest little thing I ever saw. So what is your name?' And she said, 'Jolene.' And I said, 'Jolene. Jolene. Jolene. Jolene.' I said, 'That is pretty. That sounds like a song. I'm going to write a song about that." 

Isn’t that refreshing? It gives the song a whole new meaning and it’s sweet to know the song didn’t come from Dolly getting her heart broken. 

Isn’t that just absolutely precious and so like Dolly? Now that you know a little more about how the song was inspired and created, it makes Jaydn’s performance of ‘Jolene’ just a little sweeter–maybe bittersweet. 

Jadyn has been singing for as long as she can remember. She lives in Canada, and her YouTube channel has received over 75 million views. At the tender age of 13, Jadyn released her first album, "The Voice of Change.” 

I have a feeling this won’t be the last we see or hear from her. Her voice is absolutely incredible. She was definitely born with the gift to perform.

After a terrifying accident, police officers who rescued a boy from a frozen pond came back with a football in hand for him just days later. He’s grateful for the gift, but his momma is thankful to have her son alive and well!

Watch as officers respond to the call about a possible drowning in the Chicago suburb of Aurora, Illinois. 

A 9-year-old boy had tried to collect his football after it landed in a frozen section of a nearby pond. After the ice broke and the boy fell into the frigid waters, a woman went in to try to save the child. Thankfully, officers arrived in time to save both the boy and the woman.

The body camera footage shows officers running to the scene. They have equipment for a water rescue, and as they approach the pond, a few remove bullet-proof vests and other items as they prepare to enter the water. What a frightening situation that must be—knowing that minutes matter in these situations!

The video shows first responders on the bank working with ropes to pull the injured out and others in the water assisting with the rescue. We hear the officers urgently calling out instructions to one another during the process and working as quickly as they can.

The boy and two officers who had entered the water sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, but all were later released. 

Accidents like this one happen each year. One such occurrence and the miraculous healing of a teen boy in St. Charles, MO, a suburb of St. Louis, was the subject of the 2019 blockbuster movie Breakthrough. John Smith was under frosty lake waters after falling through ice for 15 minutes! 

We are abundantly blessed by first responders—police officers, EMTs, and firefighters! 

The Aurora, IL officers didn’t just save the young football fan; they also replaced the football he lost that day. They presented him with a new one on Thanksgiving!

God often uses the most unexpected people in the most unexpected ways to accomplish His Will and as wild as it might seem: God is using Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, for a big purpose. I have no doubt of this in my heart based on what I have seen and heard from the man over the past few months.

God can use anyone He wants in order to accomplish His will. We don’t get to pick and choose, He does. We need to have faith and pray for everyone involved in what God is doing through Ye right now. Pray for a host of angels to surround and protect Ye and those around him. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give them discernment and wisdom. Pray that many people will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through Ye’s immense cultural influence on the youth. Pray that people will look beyond the attacks of the Enemy to destroy and defame him. Pray that people will see that what is going on is much bigger than politics. It’s spiritual warfare.

I believe that Ye demonstrated the love of Jesus Christ today on Infowars, which extends to all people. It’s unthinkable and sad that many Christians are failing to understand this basic Biblical concept and are once again taking the lying media headlines at face value. How many times do we need to learn this lesson? The red media is not our friend. All they do is lie, misrepresent and fabricate to form fear and drive people away from Truth.

Christ’s love and forgiveness extends to the beggar, the stealer, the murder, and the tyrant. The love and salvation of Jesus Christ is open to ALL. That was my takeaway from watching the Ye interview on Infowars today in full as it aired live. If you take the time to ignore the clickbait headlines, set aside the programmed emotional responses that have been drilled into your brain for decades, and sit down and listen to the man speak for the full interview I think you’ll come to the same conclusion.

In this video, Karolina plays ‘How Deep is Your Love’ on her violin so beautifully as she dances and spins around while people passing by enjoy the show. It is clear that she really feels the music and connects to it deeply. And when she plays, her contagious smile exudes joy and happiness, and it is captivating to watch. What a beautiful performance by this young violinist!

You have to see this video of Dolly Parton sharing with Kelly Clarkson her reaction of when she first heard Whitney Houston sing her song ‘I Will Always Love You.’

Dolly Parton released this iconic song in 1974, and the hit was part of her Jolene album. And then in 1992, Whitney Houston recorded a new arrangement of ‘I Will Always Love You’ for the soundtrack to The Bodyguard, her film debut.

Recently on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Dolly shared with Kelly the story of how she heard Whitney singing her song. While they were making the movie The Bodyguard, Dolly was asked if they could use her song for the soundtrack of the film and she gave them permission. But the first time she heard the new version of the song took her by surprise!

“Do you remember the first time you heard Whitney’s version?” Kelly asks Dolly. “I was driving my car,” Dolly shares. “I was just driving along, and I had the radio on.”

“That’s the first time?!” Kelly asks. “That was the first time!” Dolly responds. “They hadn’t sent it to me, I heard it on the radio! And so when it went into ‘And I...’ – I just freaked out. I had to pull over to the side, because I honestly thought I was going to wreck! It was the most overwhelming feeling.”

After sharing her story, Dolly and Kelly perform a little duet of the song ‘I Will Always Love You’ on the show. These two women are so talented and seeing them both sing together was just wonderful!

For the first time, Ashton Kutcher and his twin, Michael Kutcher, sit down for a joint interview, and Michael shares about overcoming his struggles for the greater good.

In a trailer for Paramount+’s ‘The Checkup With Dr. David Agus’ which premiers on December 12, Ashton Kutcher and his twin brother, Michael Kutcher, sit down and have an emotional discussion together. Michael was born with cerebral palsy and it impacts his speech, hearing, mobility in his right hand, and his vision. He also had a heart transplant.

When Ashton first shared about his inspiring twin brother publicly and his cerebral palsy, Michael was upset with him.

“I didn’t want to be the face of CP. I never talked about it,” Michael shared.

Michael also admits that he tried to hide his disorder, but soon came to see from his brother that he could use his story to help others.

“I almost died at birth, almost died during the heart transplant, but I’m still here. What is my purpose?” Chris said. “Now, my brother is a major celebrity. How do I utilize, kind of, the notoriety that I built kind of through that for the greater good. And to be able to give back to people, you know. And those are some great lessons that my brother taught me.”

How wonderful that Ashton helped Chris realize that he didn’t have to hide his cerebral palsy and that he could use it to inspire other people! And Michael, who calls Ashton by his first name which is Chris, shared about how grateful he is to his brother for this gift.

“Chris did me the biggest favor he’s ever done because he allowed me to be myself,” said Michael. “I was finally ready to tell my story and I knew because of my twin, I’d have a big reach.”

What a beautiful story and a strong bond of brotherhood and friendship between these two.

Imagine a divine life-saving moment with glittery fins! It’s something out of a fairy tale when three ‘mermaids’ help save a group of divers struggling in the water. 

Josh Claramunt was scuba diving off the coast of Catalina Island with his father Javier and his friend Pablo Avila when they soon found themselves unable to swim, much less tread water. 

With their lives on the line, Josh began shouting for help when the most incredible scene unfolded; three real life mermaids came to the rescue, fins, tales, and all. 

Three women who brought their childhood hero Ariel (from Disney’s The Little Mermaid) came to life when they joined the Professional Association of Diving Instructors Mermaid Program.” 

Had I known about this organization, I could’ve moved to the coast and joined a mermaid club. I could’ve proved to my mother that all the hours I spent in the tub diving and swimming like Ariel could’ve helped me as an adult. And I would definitely be wearing a tail right now. 

It’s also proof that God takes our childhood dreams and creates a purpose. 

That’s right; these ladies are not only highly skilled and fit, but they also wear fins! 

Chin, Elle, and Elaina were off the coast that weekend for a training exercise when they came across the scuba divers in desperate need of rescue. When they witnessed what was unfolding, Chin, Elle, and Elaina wasted no time in getting the men to safety. One of the mermaids even gave mouth-to-mouth to one of the divers, who couldn’t believe a woman was saving him with a mermaid tail!

When these mermaids were asked about their rescue, Eliana answered, “It was just a miracle that we were there. Really, it was divine timing.” 

After the dramatic and fairytale rescue, Josh was reunited with his life-saving mermaids, and he was incredibly grateful. He says they will be bragging for years to come about how they were saved by real-life mermaids.

Perhaps they were more like real-life angels in disguise.

Joy is absolutely contiguous. If you’re still on the fence about that idea, watch as this police officer shows off dance moves at a hospital in this viral video. 

Officer Corporal Eric Hudson decided to volunteer as a street monitor because he wanted to inspire others and he wanted to change the views of police officers. Instead of handing out tickets, he is handing out heaping doses of joy. And he offers this amazing gift at a place where people could definitely use a pick-me-up – the hospital.

You can’t help but smile as you cross the street to the Cleveland hospital as Eric greets staff, patients, and complete strangers with a hearty good morning and a fancy two-step. He is now known as the “dancing crossing guard.” In return, this beautiful ray of sunshine receives a little joy too. 

He said, “People come talk to me and say, ‘’Thank you, I needed this.’” To see caregivers walking into work, energetic, it’s nothing like it.” 

While he is directing traffic, he plays music on a speaker and greets everyone with a big grin and dance. In just a few weeks' time, Corporal Eric has gone viral, and it’s no surprise because joy is a gift that just keeps on giving. 

Can you imagine what the world would be like if we all attempted to spread joy? From dentists to grocery clerks, the world would be such a bright place. It reminds me of how Jesus reminds us to spread joy. 

It’s nearly as vital as breathing. God wants every one of his children to be joy-filled. We can take a few tips from Corporal Eric to give and spread joy–even if we don’t feel like it. Let’s anchor our hearts in the shoreline of God’s deep well of joy. 

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope,” Romans 15:13.

When we look into the life of someone like Joanna Gaines, we see grit, grace, talent, beauty, and hard work. But that’s not always how she saw herself. Joanna Gaines shares how anxiety and insecurities crept into her life. 

Joanna is known for making a house feel like home. She’s built an empire of decor, remodeling houses, and all with her five kids and devoted husband by her side. We can’t help but adore the way Chip is always trying to get her to laugh and smile. From the outside looking in, their lives look dreamy and picturesque.

That’s when Joanna decided to channel herself as the six-year-old little girl with frizzy hair and a missing tooth. That little girl was “light-spirited,” carefree, and not defined by the world. She was a child of God and happy in her own skin. 

Isn’t that the truth? We are most comfortable in our own skin when we go back to the most precious definition of ourselves as children of God instead of carrying the world’s labels. What a remarkable interview and insight. I, for one, cannot wait to pick up Joanna’s new book and remind myself I am God’s daughter.

96-year-old Dick Van Dyke hands out cash for the holidays just as he’s been dealing out smiles and laughs since he began his show business career in 1947! One wonders if there is much the Hollywood legend does that’s not smile worthy!

Dick Van Dyke will turn 97 in December, but he hasn’t taken to his recliner. He isn’t a grumpy old man, and he’s not bitter about how the times have changed. He just continues to make the world a better place. 

In this report, Mr. Van Dyke is shown giving out $5 bills to people looking for work at a labor center in Malibu. Modest in dress and manner, he chats with the men, and he tells ET that he stops by whenever he has some “fives.” One worker at the Malibu Labor Exchange calls Dick an “angel from God”! 

Kevin Frazier goes on to share that Dick began passing out cash in 2021 after the pandemic hit, and a video of him earlier this year in a sweatshirt reminiscent of one of his many very popular roles—although, Mr. Van Dyke actually played two roles in Mary Poppins!

Next, we see Dick in Mary Poppins Returns, which was released in 2018. Look at the man dance! He must have been at least 90 when the movie was filmed, and he is incredible! 

There is an interview from the archives during which Nischelle Turner asked Dick what he’s doing to stay in such great shape, and he attributes his longevity to continuing to move. He says he’s always dancing or singing, and we get a glimpse of him and wife Arlene Silver spinning and quick-stepping together. And, even though she’s 45 years younger than her husband, she’s not slowing down for him! They’re having a great time!

In the end, Dick Van Dyke is incredibly joyful about the opportunities he’s had to make others smile, to lighten a day, and to brighten the world. He says he’s just very grateful to have been able to do those things along the way, because “it just feels so good.” How about that!

Dick Van Dyke is much more than just a spoonful of sugar, but we can all learn from this sweet man’s lesson. Stay active and do good!

There is nothing like a surprise at a wedding. A bride performs a surprise dance to ‘Goodness of God’ during her wedding reception. It is so beautiful and tender-hearted, you don’t want to miss it. 

The video was posted on YouTube under the channel known as the “Undignified Dancer,” but if her love for Jesus and her love for dance has anything to say about it–this woman is more than dignified. It’s jaw-droppingly beautiful. 

The bride walked down the aisle and said ‘Yes’ to her husband, Nathan, in August of this year. She then performed a beautiful ballet piece as a gift to Nathan. The most enchanting and tear-jerker moment is when you read the caption that was uploaded with the video. 

She writes: “I got to present this surprise dance at my wedding on 8.15.22 as a gift to my husband. God has been so incredibly good to both of us. This song really captures that sentiment so well, emphasizing his great faithfulness throughout our lives.” She then added details about the friends she was dancing with were indeed her childhood friends. 

“What made this even more special is that I got to dance with three young women who I grew up dancing alongside. To all come together again in such a worshipful, and creative way was truly touching. I hope this dance blesses you as well,” she added. 

The dancers are Debbie Covert, Anna Milograno, Rebecca Goodall, Sharon Lee,and we aren’t sure which is the bride. Either way, all four performed beautifully. Perhaps the most stunning part of this video is the expression on the groom’s face as his wife worships God! 

We long to marry the love of our lives who will know us from the inside out. But marriage isn’t just about two people. It’s about reflecting and loving Jesus and how Christ loved the church. This beautiful dance is a stunning and accurate reflection of marriage with Christ at the center of it all. No matter our flaws, the hardships we face, nor the journey we take in our marriage, we can not only thrive but face the impossible with our love of Christ.
