Pilot Helps Steve Hartman's Blind Nephew Live Out His Dreams Of Flying

A pilot helps Steve Hartman’s blind nephew live out his dreams of flying! This is such an incredible and inspiring story that reminds us no matter the struggle or trial, we can live out our dreams.

Steve’s nephew was born blind, and when Ted realized he was blind, Ted felt like he was doomed. Ted says the challenges of navigating the world felt insurmountable because he just wants to be like everyone else. Knowing his nephew’s struggles, Steve set out to show Ted that blindness isn’t an obstacle.

As a reporter, Steve uncovered a blind drag racer named Dan Parker. In 2012 he was in an accident that took his sight. But that didn’t stop Dan from making a life for himself. After the accident, Dan wasn’t about to give up on what he was born to do.

“I’ve been a racer my whole life, I just had to find another way to do it,” he said. He is a machinist by trade, so Dad got adaptive equipment so he could continue his passion of working on cars.

Dan even designed and built an entire race card as a blind man. As if that isn’t enough to prove there’s no such as limitations, he wanted to break the world record for driving the fastest car blindfolded.

With a sighted driver beside him, Dan broke the Guiness Book of World Record’s driving a car blindfolded at 211 miles per hour! Can you imagine? Through faith, not sight, Dan is proving to the world that we can do all things through Christ.

It also inspired Ted, who thought if Dan can break world records driving a car blind, then maybe he could fly a plane. When Steve’s story was released about Dan and Ted, a man named Sidney Irish decided to help Ted’s dream of flying a plane come true! Irish helped Ted fly a plane without sight.

What an incredible way to teach the world about kindness, compassion, and learning to adapt. For a kid who once thought he was doomed, through Irish, Dan, and his uncle, he now knows there’s a world full of possibilities.

Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.”

Group Of Soldiers Sings A Cappella Rendition Of “My Girl”

Enjoy a bit of fun courtesy of a group of soldiers as they sing their A Capella rendition of “My Girl.”

When we think of the military, we think business and bad-to-the-bone men and women protecting our country. We wouldn’t have it any other way! But, in this video, we get to see the softer side of our armed forces, and it is a joy!

Meet the singing soldiers of the 82nd Airborne stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina! As the video begins, we see a large group of airmen scattered on the sandy ground and lounging back on their enormous packs.

The gentlemen warm up with a little vocal rhythm and finger snapping, and soon we hear the first words of the old favorite. It is tricky to identify who is singing the solo, but it might be the soldier at the horizontal center with his hand raised in the air. Whoever it is, it’s excellent!

Although the trees’ upper branches show just the slightest movement, it sounds like it is windy where they sit and sing. But, the person recording makes a big move at the first chorus and brings the group all into a better view. There appear to be seven talented crooners participating in this impromptu performance.

The group slaps their helmets, rocks their outstretched legs to the beat, bobs their heads, raises their hands at synchronized points in the lyrics, and makes lots of “do” and “bom” sounds. They look like they are having a great time!

At 1:13, the paratrooper that sits with his legs in a “V” just beneath the video caption’s red heart sings his solo. He’s “got all the riches” and great chops, too! At 2:00, one of the seven does a fun low-octave run.

Given the expression of the guy at the top of the screen, it’s the one to his right that belts those notes out. His mouth is hidden under words, but the syllables come through nonetheless!

The group finishes the 1965 classic by The Temptations with lots of flair and leaving the gal behind the device feeling bright and shiny. She exclaims, “You guys made my day!”

One thing is for sure… When the men of the 82nd Airborne are finished serving their country, they will be positioned and ready to serve up the tunes!

“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve;” 1 Peter 5:2

Janitor With Golden Voice Goes Viral With “Don't Stop Believin'” Performance During Assembly

Davis Park Elementary students got a special treat when their school janitor, with his golden voice, went viral after performing “Don’t Stop Believin’” during a recent assembly! That’s a cool story for graduating 5th-graders to share with Grandpa and Grandma!

Meet 53-year-old Richard Goodall. Richard has worked for the Vigo County School Corporation of Terre Haute, Indiana, for over twenty years. But before Richard was working anywhere, he was a teenager listening to groups like Journey in his bedroom. He says that’s how he started singing—wailing away with the bands of his youth.

Richard refers to the kids at Davis Park Elementary as his students. Isn’t that awesome! He understands that educating and being a role model for today’s kids isn’t just the job of the building teachers and administrators!

So, he puts thought into choosing the songs he sings for school activities and events. That’s right, this was not Richard’s first school performance!

Students know Richard as the man who keeps their facilities clean and sparkling, but they also know him as one outstanding singer! Richard has never had any formal vocal training, but he does an amazing job—without any accompaniment to boot!

Richard is a humble man who uses his gifts, demonstrating to the children that everyone has talents that should be shared for the benefit of others.

The girls and boys at Davis definitely enjoy Richard’s singing. They have hands held high, as if at a kiddie rock concert, as Richard channels Steve Perry, and they scream and jump in adoration when he finishes the number! They are true fans!

Richard had a small social media following prior to this performance, but he gained many more after his co-worker Mariah Denehie posted his song on TikTok. It has been viewed more than 10,000,000 times, even catching the attention of Steve Perry!

The singing sanitation man selected “Don’t Stop Believin’” to encourage his students to always follow their dreams. Alas, it might just be Mr. Goodall who has more dreams to fulfill. We’ll be watching! Rock on, Richard!

“Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave.” Exodus 18:20

9-Year-Old Viral Voice Claire Crosby Sings Adele 'Easy On Me' With Dad

Watch this wonderful video of 9-year-old viral sensation Claire Crosby singing the song ‘Easy On Me’ by Adele with her dad.

“There ain't no gold in this river hat I've been washin' my hands in forever
I know there is hope in these waters but I can't bring myself to swim
When I am drowning in this silence, baby, let me in, go easy on me, baby
I was still a child, didn't get the chance to, feel the world around me
I had no time to choose what I chose to do, so go easy on me”

What a fantastic performance! Claire sings with such emotion and passion, and the young girl has such great control of her voice. As she is singing next to her dad while he plays on the guitar, one can’t help but think about what a great bonding moment that must be for the two of them, making beautiful music together up on stage.

Claire Crosby started to sing at a very young age, and she became a YouTube sensation at just the age of three. Dave Crosby is her father and is the one that makes music videos of her to share online. And he shared about how their family first realized that Claire was a singer.

“Claire learned to talk at a super young age and we noticed really early on that she could carry a pitch. I remember some time after her first birthday, she was slamming her hands on our little keyboard in the living room. She started hitting the same note over and over, and then she began to sing the exact same note. I was sure at that moment that she was going to be able to sing,” Dave shared. “This led to an obsession with Disney songs. It started with Frozen, but we also introduced her to some of the classics: she absolutely fell in love with The Little Mermaid when we showed it to her. We bought ‘Part of Your World’ for her and she would request it whenever we drove around in the car. Pretty soon, she was singing the entire song word for word everywhere.”

Dave continued: “One day, I was getting an oil change and while I was paying, [Claire] suddenly burst out into the Little Mermaid song, walking around the waiting area and being so dramatic. It made everyone in the waiting room laugh and people were pulling out their cell phones and recording it. That gave me the idea to put a video on YouTube. A few months later, during Christmas break, we finally made our first video to the song from Little Mermaid.”

We hope that you enjoyed this video of Claire singing and it was able to brighten your day!

Debbii Dawson Has 'Star Quality' With Unique Rendition Of 'Dancing Queen' On AGT

In this video, Debbii Dawson has “Star Quality” with her unique rendition of “Dancing Queen” on AGT.

At the start of this audition, Debbii is told that she looks very confident and she humorously responds, “really, I’m so nervous.” The audience laughs.

The judges ask her where she is from, and she says that she lives there in LA. Debbii shares that music is more than a hobby. It is her legacy. She says that her grandfather taught himself to play the organ with charcoal on the ground and draw it out so he could play, and the music was passed on to her father and now her.

One judge questions why her parents are not here. They ask her what the dream is, and she says it is for this to no longer be a dream but a reality.

Debbii has such a special talent. She combines her Indian background with a pop song, and it is so intriguing. Her voice is very sweet and beautiful. Her voice is so intriguing, and she completely recreates the song into her own. The judges and audience stand and cheer.

They tell her that she has a sweet and soothing voice and she has star quality. They celebrate her voice and how they love listening to her. They compliment her on taking such a well-known song and creating it to her own version.

They ask if she was going to phone her parents and if they could call them with her. She excitedly says, “yeah!” The judges tell the parents how amazing their daughter did, and they ask why they were not there.

Her dad says, “Because she told me not to come!” Everyone looks shocked and points at Debbii! They joke with Debbii about her not telling them that.

Debbii’s audition reminds us to step into ourselves and learn who God made us to be. He has created us individually, and we have the gift of being grateful daily for our unique lives.

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14

18-Year-Old Ava Swiss Brings The Tears With Lauren Daigle's 'Remember' On AGT

Check out this moving audition. An 18-year-old, Ava Swiss, brings the tears with Lauren Daigle’s “Remember” on AGT.

At the start of this video, Ava is asked about her name. She shares that she shortened her last name to Swiss to make it easier. The judges love her name.

They ask her where she is from and her age, and she shares that she is from Oxford, Michigan, and she is 18 years old. Her mom proudly cheers from on the side of the stage.

They ask what she is singing and why. Ava bravely opens up that she is singing “Remember” by Lauren Daigle because she and her brother were part of the Oxford school shooting.

They asked how she is coping with that. She said that she and her brother said they would never step foot back in the school, but they have courageously gone back in person for two months. The crowd applauds. Ava is eloquent with her words and so sweet.

At the end of her performance, Ava tears up and smiles. One judge says to another, “wow.” The entire audience stands in ovation, including the judges. Ava smiles and looks at her mom.

The judges rave about her showing up after such trauma and singing so wonderfully. They thanked her for her authenticity. They tell her that she has a great voice and is an extraordinary person. What an audition!

"Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” Psalm 115:1

Couple Rescues Baby Deer Trapped On Frozen Lake

In this incredible video we see bravery and team work. A couple rescues a baby deer trapped on a frozen lake.

At the start of the video, we see a couple using a type of boat on top of the ice to get to a deer who is sitting in the middle of a frozen lake. The woman says, “Aww, he is shaking.”

They slow their paddling to make sure that they do not scare the deer. They quickly realize it is a girl doe. The couple says hello as their video reveals that they are in Wisconsin. They have to get ropes around the deer’s legs and they try to comfort her with their words as they get closer, but the whole situation freaks the poor deer out.

The sweet deer keeps trying to escape but continues to fall on the ice. The man uses an ax to move closer through the ice water, which of course, appears scary to the deer.

They finally get close enough to the deer, and the man struggles to get her at first. The man has to strategically lasso the helpless animal. After a few difficult tries of getting the wrong angle, finally, he succeeds.

The woman holds the precious deer in the back of the boat. The deer looks young and has been rescued from a dangerous situation that probably would have taken her life if this kind couple had not helped.

At the end, the man jokes that he hasn’t gotten that much exercise in a long time.

Watching this rescue reminds us that we are like that helpless deer. However, Jesus came for us. He has taken away our sin and given us new life.

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10

Joshua 9

We are to choose to trust God in all things and never to lean on our own understanding for we cannot trust in our perception. For every step we take may we acknowledge Him that He might direct our paths

4 Times Secret Hand Signals And Messages Saved A Person's Life

We live in a world where communication is everything. We take notes, send messages, and use body language to convey what we mean. Even more so, we can communicate in a way to save lives too!

You don’t want to miss this incredible video because you could be the hands and feet of Jesus to save someone else’s life. Four times, secret hand signals and messages saved a person’s life!

Have you seen the hand signal that communicates distress and to get help? Last year it went viral on TikTok and ultimately saved a young woman’s life when a man on the interstate recognized the sign. The man called the police, and she was able to be rescued.

Another everyday person working a normal job like being a server also saved a little boy’s life. A server noticed a young boy with bruises not being served food at the place she worked. When she asked the boy’s father, he said the boy was fine and would eat later that evening when they got home.

Already alerted by the way the boy was sitting, she wrote a note on a piece of paper, “Do you need help?” When the boy saw the note, he nodded in agreement, and the server called 9-1-1. The boy’s father and mother were then arrested on multiple charges of abuse and neglect. Had this server not stepped in, this precious child would still be at the mercy of his parents.

Did you know you can order a pizza from 9-1-1 in order to get the help you need too? An Ohio woman called emergency services to place an order for pepperoni pizza. The dispatcher picked up on a hidden plea for help and dispatched police to save the woman from her abuser!

If you can’t order a pizza, how about additional notes on the food you order? A woman who had been kidnapped and assaulted had convinced her abuser to let her place an order for food.

She managed to write a note with additional instructions to ask the restaurant to call the police. The servers working at the restaurant did exactly that and saved this woman’s life.

Thank God for communication. Whether it’s a note, a sign, or a hand signal, we know we can get help when we need it because we believe in a God who loves mercy, kindness, goodness, and compassion.

Micah 6:8 “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God?”

Country Trio Stuns The Crowd With Epic Response To Dolly Parton's 'Jolene'

What a legendary moment for Chapel Hart! This country trio stuns the crowd with an epic present-day response to Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene.’

From the moment they stepped on the stage, we knew they were something special. The trio is made of family, two sisters Danica and Devlyn Hart and first cousin, Trea Swindle.

Rooted in Mississippi, the group grew up on Dolly Parton. With a nod to their beloved icon, the trio wrote an original of their own titled, ‘You Can Have Him, Jolene’ which is a follow up to Dolly’s original, ‘Jolene.’

Danica explained why they wrote the cheeky song, "We were so inspired by the song ‘Jolene;' we just love the storyline. And we figured, though, from 1973 to 2022, we could not still be fighting over the same man, so we decided to tell her, 'You can just have him, Jolene.'”

The high-energy country song had the crowd cheering and the judges dancing. By the time they finished their performance, the audience was chanting for the Golden Buzzer. But this is where it gets interesting.

The Judges had already hit the Golden Buzzer this season, it’s against the rules to use it again. For a moment, as the judges deliberated about what to do, the crowd was stunned to silence while Chapel Hart hoped for the best outcome on the stage.

Suddenly, all the judges brought their hands down together to hit the Golden Buzzer! They knew Chapel Hart was too incredible of a group with their talent, energy, and love of music to pass up.

“Trust me, I needed you today. I mean, that was fantastic," Simon said. "I love you, and I love the choreography going on around you. It was just brilliant…You’ve just got to break down that door, and you may have just broken down that door with that performance, trust me,” Simon Cowell said.

The trio shared that it had been hard for them to break into Nashville because they don’t ‘look’ like country music.

Heidi Klum added, “"I love the song, I love the energy, I love the look. You say country music doesn’t look like you; that is your win, because you are going to be the original.”

If you love Dolly Parton as much as we do, you will enjoy this incredible trio and their performance!

Since her victory, she has continued to perform and share her gift with others. She even competed on the all-star season of America’s Got Talent, AGT: The Champions.

A Garden of Healing

Through heartbreaks of all sorts, there is a "Happy Place" one can escape to. It's called the garden. Sometimes the emotional and mental pain is so intense that we find the garden a place where we are in tune with God's nature. A place, for just a time as this we can collect our thoughts and enter back into the real world.
The song is broken up into three sections. First, it is the time of pain. Second is the place of moving to the garden and waiting on God. The Third is the trinity of God bringing healing. Many, I will readily admit, are still waiting for this third moment to occur. I know their struggles well. Peace

Choir Gets A Second Chance And Blows Everyone Away With 'Amazing Grace' Audition

Sometimes people just need another opportunity to show what they can do. In this video, a choir gets a second chance and blows everyone away with their “Amazing Grace” audition.

The choir director introduces their group with tears. She says that they are Sing Harlem and they are from Harlem, USA. The choir has trained together since they were young, and they are a tight-knit group. Noel introduces herself as the director.

As the group gets ready, all the kids are dressed in fun black outfits with red shoes. As they start to sing, they are good. But you can tell the judges are not overly blown away. The audience clearly has fun with them dancing along. The audience stands in ovation, and the choir director and kids get super emotional and excited.

The choir is asked to do an audition that resembles more of a choir and less like a musical. The group decides to do Amazing Grace, and they are asked to sing it A Capella on the spot. The vocals and their confidence are incredible.

This group knocks it out of the park. They have so much flare and joy. Their harmonies are so tight and stunning. They finish their second song, and the crowd goes wild over them. The judges are smiling.

Noel says that she felt that they did great and they will continue to share joy to the world because they love to sing. At the end of the audition, they are all celebrating this victorious moment.

I love how this video is about second chances, and the choir sings Amazing Grace. God’s grace is all about the countless second chances we have been given because of Jesus’ final work on the cross.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

19-Year-Old Singer With Speech Impediment Leaves Everyone In Tears During AGT Audition

Check out this incredible video. A 19-Year-Old singer with a speech impediment leaves everyone in tears during her AGT Audition.

At the start of this clip, a young woman is asked what her name is. She struggles to respond, Amanda. They ask how old she is, and she responds that she is 19. She shares that she is from Connecticut.

Amanda tells the judges and audience, “As you can probably tell, I have a bit of a speech impediment.” Amanda gets very vulnerable about her disability. In the past, it caused her to want to hide. However, she discovered that she does not stutter when she sings.

Amanda says that she is going to be singing an original song about the hard times she faced and the purpose in them. The audience cheers.

As Amanda stands there with her guitar, the judges are already emotional. She plays a beautiful guitar intro. Her voice is angelic. Amanda’s song is like a bird that has flown out of a cage. She is authentic, lovely, and has such a pure tone.

As she sings, this message of not changing the hardships that she has been through, but embracing who she is, the audience is moved. When she finishes her song, the audience stands and cheers with the judges.

Amanda sheds tears as she shares that she did not think she was good enough ever to do anything like this when she was younger. Each judge raves about her talent and her boldness. They love her performance. Her dad supports her and goes out to give her a hug at the side of the stage.

Amanda’s message aligns with God’s. The Lord created us beautifully and wonderfully. Even though we live in a sinful and broken world, Heh came to us. We have become His own children and He calls us out of shame and darkness and into the glorious light of Jesus. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1
