There is no greater blessing on Earth than being a parent. No title or position is more important than being a mother or a father. Children, while they are full of energy and tend to cry a lot, bring so much joy and happiness to every household. Of course, this is something that every parent knows and understands.

Every parent would trade anything in the world for more time with their children. Sadly, because having a job and making a living are necessities, many parents don’t have the luxury of staying home with their children all day. But that time with one’s children is precious because those moments can never be recovered.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one mother shared her fears about returning to work after being home with her twins for the past three months. With tears streaming down her face, she expressed her thoughts and feelings while holding her twins. These thoughts and feelings are likely ones that every parent has felt as they transitioned back to work following the birth of children.

“So, today is my last day of maternity leave, and I go back to work tomorrow,” she said. “And I just…feel like I haven’t had enough time with them.

“It’s just such an abrupt change,” she added. “You’re with your babies all the time, and then you pick them up from day care and you might just get a few hours.”

Later in the video, she explained how, at that moment, she felt “so disconnected” from them and feared that her children would forget her.

The time with our children is precious. They are only little for a short time. Blink, and their childhood is over.

A bride brought her dad to tears with a surprise audio recording of her great-grandfather. Given his emotional reaction, the young woman's father was not expecting what his daughter found. Watch the short but tear-jerking clip to see and hear what the bride found and her father's response.

Weddings are often very emotional occasions where people shed a tear or two. Anyone who has ever attended a wedding and a reception knows there are plenty of opportunities to become emotional. There's the moment the bride enters the sanctuary and starts making her way down the aisle, when the happy couple begins exchanging vows and is pronounced husband and wife.

The reception also offers plenty of chances to become teary-eyed. There are the best man and maid of honor speeches and the father-daughter and mother-son dances. A clip posted on YouTube captures a father and his daughter, who has just gotten hitched, during the father-daughter dance at her reception when he unexpectedly becomes emotional, but not for the reason you might think.

Before her wedding day, the bride started going through old home movies when she made a startling discovery. She came across an old audio recording of her great-grandfather, her father's grandfather, singing. The clip also mentions that on the recording were her grandmother, her father's mother, and him singing as a child. Her father had no idea that recording even existed.

Seconds after the song begins, the bride's father is overcome with emotion and unable to stop himself from crying.

"Folks will begin to, maybe, record those special moments today and realize how special they'll be for years down the road," the father of the bride said.

What a lovely and unexpected gift the young woman gave her father on a day intended to be about her and the new chapter in her life.

UPS Driver’s Breaktime Moment Has Everyone Smiling

A UPS driver’s breaktime moment has everyone smiling. The young man took a momentary timeout from delivering packages and took advantage of an opportunity to beat the heat. Watch the short but hilarious clip to see the UPS driver’s unexpected move.

Summertime is a terrific opportunity to get outside and enjoy all nature has to offer, but it can also be a rather uncomfortable time of year. Soaring temperatures and unbearable humidity send crowds scrambling toward their local swimming pools every June, July and August. Of course, swimming is one activity that helps make the conditions outside a little more doable.

However, while diving into a pool is the most popular way to beat the summer heat and humidity, other water-related activities fulfill the same task. Participating in balloon fights and running through the sprinklers will also cool you down. But they are obviously not nearly as fun as having a go at a Slip ‘N Slide, and that’s precisely what a group of young men and a United Parcel Service employee did.

In the clip posted on YouTube, a UPS driver was captured unexpectedly taking a turn on a Slip ‘N Slide. He took a much-needed break from the heat to go down the wet slide, which was laid out in the front yard. Everyone appeared to be having the time of their life!

Immediately after going down the slide, the driver hops right back up and heads back to work, not appearing the least bit worried that his clothes were now more than a little damp.

The clip points out that young men who asked the UPS driver to join them for a high-speed ride down the water-covered slide were celebrating their recent high school graduation.

When it’s scorching and unbearably hot outside, you do whatever you have to beat the heat, even if it means going down a water slide fully dressed.

King David's early life as a shepherd boy was far from ordinary; it was a period of profound development and preparation that would shape his destiny. In the solitude of the fields, David diligently tended his flock, demonstrating a remarkable faithfulness in his job. This commitment wasn't just about protecting sheep; it was during these formative years that he cultivated a deep connection with God, expressing his devotion and trust through the eloquent verses of Psalm 23. It was during this time, that David found his gift--Writing Songs. This timeless psalm, often referred to as "The Lord is my Shepherd," serves as a testament to his profound spiritual insight and his ability to find solace and strength in his daily duties. Beyond his spiritual growth, David's time as a shepherd boy honed his character and prepared him for future challenges. He wasn't just a faithful caretaker; he was an extraordinary teen who discovered and refined his unique abilities. It was in the wilderness that he courageously confronted and defeated both a lion and a bear that threatened his flock. These seemingly isolated incidents were, in fact, crucial training grounds, equipping him with the bravery, skill, and unwavering faith he would need for much larger battles. These encounters illustrate a fundamental truth: everybody has a gift, and often, these gifts are unearthed and refined in unexpected places and circumstances. Indeed, David's journey as a shepherd boy exemplifies how discovering and embracing one's gift can lead to remarkable opportunities. His courage in protecting his sheep, rooted in his faithfulness and trust in God, directly prepared him to face the seemingly insurmountable challenge of Goliath. His past victories against the lion and the bear instilled in him the confidence and conviction that he could overcome any foe with God's help. This powerful progression highlights that once you find your gift, it will promote you and set you in front of influential people. David's shepherd's staff and sling, once tools of his humble profession, became instruments of divine purpose, ultimately elevating him from a simple shepherd to a king who would profoundly impact history. Chick-fil-A makes waves with an epic water delivery. The popular fast-food chain made a very unexpected move, bringing customers their orders by boat. Watch the short clip to see a Chick-fil-A employee bring customers their food in a way you likely have never seen.

Customer service is of the utmost importance, no matter what kind of business it is or what it’s attempting to sell. Many people spout that old saying that the customer is always right regarding business. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We have all witnessed uncomfortable and unfortunate incidents when the customer was very much in the wrong. Customers screaming at a server or someone working in a drive-thru are never right on any occasion.

However, even though some customers may choose to act poorly, customer service still matters a great deal. Businesses that treat their customers with kindness, respect and courtesy will likely see the same people return repeatedly. Chick-fil-A is a business known as much for its excellent customer service as it is for its delicious chicken sandwich.

In a clip posted on social media, the popular chicken joint has found yet another way to improve and raise its level of customer service. The short clip shows several people on a boat enjoying the water in Destin, Florida. They are having a fantastic time, even listening to Earth, Wind & Fire’s classic “September” when things are about to improve considerably.

That’s because seconds into the video, a Chick-fil-A employee pulls up on a boat with their orders. Yes, you read that correctly. Chick-fil-A apparently even delivers food by boat.

Just when you thought the company couldn’t get any better, they found another way to improve and delivered their tasty chicken on the water!

Woman Finds Her Wedding Ring After 20 Years, and Her Reaction Says It All

A woman found her wedding ring after 20 years, and her reaction says it all. She instantly became emotional after locating the important piece of jewelry that had gone missing two decades earlier. Watch the short but awe-inspiring clip to see the woman become overwhelmed with emotion after spotting her long-lost wedding ring.

Every couple's wedding day is a monumental occasion. The ceremony, in which they stand at an altar before their friends, family and God and exchange vows, is a day they will never forget. All the pictures and videos taken on that day will become cherished mementos of a wonderful, fantastic day.

However, as important as those pictures and videos might be, the wedding ring is much more important. It symbolizes the vows and promises made between those two people that day. So, if that ring were to become lost or temporarily misplaced, it would cause much concern, likely sending many into a panic. That’s likely what happened to one woman when she lost her wedding ring 20 years ago. But after two decades, she happened to come across the piece of jewelry.

A clip posted on YouTube explains that Dana Popham was in her bathroom in 2005 when she noticed her wedding ring had gone missing. It was nowhere to be found, which is how it remained for the next 20 years.

But then, in 2025, while remodeling that very same bathroom, Dana happened to come across that very same ring that had gone missing 20 years earlier. After making the shocking and unexpected discovery, Dana was more than a little excited and joyful. Her eyes immediately filled with tears as she was overwhelmed by the sight of her cherished wedding ring.

“When we pulled that cabinet out, my husband said, ‘There’s a ring,’ and I just screamed,” Dana said. “I just, I’m still shaking.”

Genesis 2:24 “For this cause will a man go away from his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they will be one flesh.”

Uplifting and Encouraging Message That God Wipes Away Our Sins

This uplifting and encouraging message is a beautiful reminder that God permanently wipes away our sins. We'd all be better off remembering this idea that God does not possess and keep a record of our every sin, fall, stumble and error. Watch the short but powerful clip about the love and forgiveness of God.

No one is perfect – far from it. All have committed their fair share of mistakes and errors. The Bible clearly states that everyone is a sinner in need of God’s forgiveness. Most people have a past they are not proud of, which is likely sprinkled with things they would rather not share or discuss.

While some may feel a certain way about us because of our past actions or failures, that is not the case with God. Once we turn to Him, ask for His forgiveness and accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior, it’s like those sins never occurred from His point of view. He has wiped them away.

This is the powerful message and reminder that one man shares in a video posted on YouTube. While we and others may hold a past sin or a failure against us, God does not see things that way. Once we have been forgiven, those sins and that past have been cleared. 

“So maybe this world, this world keeps track of things, and other people might keep track of things,” he said. “But our God doesn’t. He says if you bring your mistakes, your guilt, your shame, you bring that to me, God says I will forgive you, and I will truly forget, and we will start anew. And when, when the opinion of the Creator of the universe is ‘Hey, I forgave you and I forget it all,’ suddenly it makes the permanent record that other people hold seem a lot less powerful.”

Psalm 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he put our sins from us.”

How Love Surpasses Knowledge | Your Nightly Prayer

📖 Ephesians 3:19 (NIV) “…and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” God’s love is not something we can fully explain—but it is something we can fully receive. In tonight’s prayer and devotional, we pause to reflect on what it means that God’s love surpasses knowledge. It’s deeper than facts, wider than failure, and stronger than human understanding. Let this prayer be a quiet reminder: you are loved beyond comprehension, and that love is transforming you from the inside out.
