Wildlife Officials Rescue Bear With Milk Can Around Its Neck for Weeks

In the peaceful town of Enosburgh, Vermont, a bear-y unusual rescue mission captured the community’s heart and their funny bone. Wildlife officials rescued a bear with a milk can around its neck for weeks! One of nature’s large and curious creatures recently found itself in a rather sticky situation. Early this spring, locals noticed a black bear sporting a metal milk can around its neck, looking ready to join a space mission. The sight stirred a potent mix of worry and empathy among the townspeople.

Determined to bear the responsibility of helping the distressed animal, the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department sprang into action. Wildlife specialists, game wardens, biologists, and volunteers united to craft a careful plan to free the bear. But let’s be honest—trapping a bear is no picnic—it’s more like a barbecue. Keeping their eyes sharp and paws crossed, they finally caught the bear.

After weeks of bear-y hard work and anticipation, the moment of truth finally arrived. The bear, perhaps lured by the promise of a can-free life, was caught in one of the traps. A team swiftly sedated the bear, covering its eyes and snout with a cloth to keep it calm while carefully cutting away the metal can.

A heartwarming video shared by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department documented the moment of liberation. The bear, initially disoriented and possibly pondering its next snack, quickly realized its newfound freedom and darted into the safety of the woods.

This bear-y happy ending highlighted the power of human kindness and community spirit. As it is written in Proverbs 12:10, "The righteous care for the needs of their animals." This scripture was truly lived out in Enosburgh as people worked tirelessly to ensure the bear's well-being.

The bear's ordeal brought the community closer, showcasing the enduring spirit of both human and animal residents of this picturesque Vermont town. The once-distressed bear now symbolizes hope and the power of collective compassion in making the world a bear-ter place.

Head Baseball Coach Nick Mingione Surrendered to God And Shares How It Changed Everything

University of Kentucky head baseball coach Nick Mingione said he reached a point when he surrendered everything to God and shared how doing that changed everything.

Professional and collegiate athletics is a serious business. Big money, sky-high expectations and a lot of pressure are involved in sports at that level. Often, entire livelihoods rest on a single win or loss, which can be determined by one play here or there. An error there or failure to make the correct play here could cost a coach and his entire staff their jobs.

That kind of pressure and level of expectation can result in frustration and anger. Coaches and players can get angry and upset when they don’t reach what they think is their full potential. However, when his 2022 team failed to achieve what he believed they were capable of, Nick admits that he had some dark days.

However, in a clip posted on YouTube, Nick, with his wife and young child by his side, said that he did one of the hardest things he’s ever had to do. Understanding that his abilities were finite and limited, he surrendered everything to God.

“We went on this great run,” Nick said. “We were one win short. We were one win short. We finished fourth in the SEC Tournament for the first time. It was the best finish, but we were one win short.”

During that season, Nick lost two players to injury for the year. He said that he “had some dark nights earlier in that season.” He admitted that he was “hurting like he’s never hurt before” and “was a beat down coach.”

Nick, who played Phil Wickham’s “Battle Belongs” on his phone during the press conference, told the media that he surrendered everything and told the Lord that the “battle belongs to you.”

Nick surrendered all to the Lord on May 15, 2022. From that day forward, Nick said no one has won more regular season baseball games in the SEC than the University of Kentucky.

“You can’t make this up,” Nick said. “Only God can make this up.”

Nick’s comments about experiencing adversity and surrendering to the Lord came after the University of Kentucky baseball team made it to the College World Series. It is the first in the school’s history.

God will do amazing things in the lives of His people. But we must allow Him the opportunity to do so by surrendering everything to Him.

James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Sweet Young Man Supports His Great Grandfather Through Parkinson's Struggle

This video will inspire you. A sweet young man supports his great-grandfather through Parkinson's struggle.

In this heartfelt video, the granddaughter of a man with Parkinson's shares about discovering that they noticed in 2013 that he was not as mobile anymore. He was shuffling his feet. She tells of his diagnosis. You see a picture of him when he was younger, healthy, and strong in front of a canyon. She shares about how he used to be very active, always outside and playing with them.

The granddaughter expresses the hardship of seeing how he has not been able to be a part of as many experiences with them. You see precious photos of the grandpa with his great-grandson. The little boy’s name is TJ. We see pictures of him with this precious boy as a baby and toddler. The granddaughter shares how TJ brought new joy in her grandfather’s life. TJ appears to have a sweet relationship with his great-grandpa. His mom describes how TJ saw them helping his great-grandpa, and it became something that he wanted to participate in as well. You see video clips of TJ helping the great grandpa by holding his hand to help him through a doorway and eating meals with him.

The woman describes the value of the next generation loving on the former ones and caring for family. She explains the importance of being unified and helping each other when we need it. This video is inspiring and motivating to us to love others well. A little two-year-old is noticing the needs of his great grandpa and stepping up to help. Jesus is the perfect example for us. We can also learn from Him how to better care for the family of God. We are all in the body of Christ and we are called to love one another.

“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:4

Country Singer Zach Bryan's Kindness Moves Sick Young Woman to Tears

This is a moving video worth taking a moment to watch. Country singer Zach Bryan's kindness moves sick young woman to tears.

As the clip starts, you see a young 19-year-old woman sitting in a wheelchair with a feeding tube taped to her nose. She is in the midst of a large stadium concert, wearing a cowgirl hat and a cute dress. You see the crowd cheering, and they all begin to clap.

As Zach finishes his performance, he comes off the stage with one guitar and hands it to a crewmate. Then Zach does something unexpected: he picks up a dark guitar case and carries it over to the young woman. He tells her that the guitar is for her. She is in complete shock. She cannot believe that he has come up to speak with her and give her a special gift. He asks if she wants to go backstage, and she says yes. He agrees to give the guitar to her, back there. You then see that she is holding a poster that says her life goal #1 is to go to a Zach Bryan concert. He gives her a hug, and she begins to cry.

The girl's name is Megan Pederson. Even in the battle she is facing, this small act of kindness went a long way in her life. She and her family happened to meet Zach’s dad at a concert in Oklahoma, and he got them VIP tickets for the Wisconsin show. To her surprise, Zach had a special gift for her that meant the world to her in her battle with a rare disease that affects her eating. This video reminds us to look out for those around us, and we never know what they are facing. Pray for Megan, for her health to improve, and her body to be healed.

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10

Vanna White Chokes Up Saying Goodbye To Wheel Of Fortune Host Pat Sajak

Vanna White became emotional and choked up as she said goodbye to Pat Sajak, her friend and longtime host of Wheel of Fortune.

For most people, a job is simply a place where they go Monday through Friday to earn a paycheck. It’s a way to put food on the table and clothes on the back. Everyone has to earn a living one way or another.

Working is something that most people will spend a good part of their lives doing. So, it would make sense to try and find something you at least halfway enjoy doing with people you like and don’t mind being around for 40 hours a week or so.

Vanna White has found precisely that in her time on Wheel of Fortune, except instead of like, she has grown to love the people she works with, particularly Pat Sajak.

In early June, after more than 40 years as host, Pat Sajak said goodbye as the host of the long-running, popular game show. But before he stepped away for good, Vanna recorded a special, tearful goodbye to her co-host and friend Pat Sajak.

Vanna is grateful for the 8,000 episodes she and Pat had together, saying the 41 years went by quickly.

“What an incredible and unforgettable journey we’ve had,” Vanna said while fighting back tears. “And I’ve enjoyed every minute of it with you.”

Vanna also added that Pat has become like family to her.

“You’re like a brother to me, and I consider you a true lifelong friend who I will always adore. I love you, Pat.”

Saying goodbye to people we love and care about is never easy, but it is simply a part of life. Her video shows that Vanna and Pat have grown very close over the years and that she, like the audience, will miss him being on the show.

Proverbs 27:9 “Oil and perfume make glad the heart, and the wise suggestion of a friend is sweet to the soul.”

Anne Wilson Opens Up About Brother's Death and The Lord's Healing In Emotional Video

Christian musician Anne Wilson has opened up about her brother’s death and the Lord’s healing in an emotional video.

Everyone will experience painful, heartbreaking and distressing moments. It’s a sad reality of life. There will be times that rip your heart out of your chest and leave you feeling absolutely gutted and crying out for help, comfort and healing.

However, there is one who understands our pain. He knows what it’s like to experience pain and heartache. Even amid those terrible situations, the Lord is still in control, and He can and will provide healing and comfort to the hurting and grieving.

In a clip posted on social media, Anne opened up about her brother’s death and how he was taken from her and her family at the young age of 23. Her brother was killed in a car crash on June 7, 2017.

Later in the video, Anne states that while she and her family were hurting and grieving, the Lord started to perform a miracle. He started to heal them and changed the direction of Anne’s life. Anne said the first time she sang in public was at his funeral. Initially, Anne wanted to be an astronaut and work for NASA. She had no plans to do anything to do with music.

“I had all these dreams and hopes and visions of what my future would look like, and it was nothing to do with music,” Anne said.

But the Lord had other plans for Anne’s life.

“And when Jacob was killed, my life changed drastically,” she said. “I began to see what it means to live a life that honors and glorifies God. What it means to use my time on Earth for the kingdom of God, to grow it further and further for His glory.”

Anne states that the Lord has brought her and her family to a place where they feel healed, even though that pain and hurt are still very much real.

Horrible things happen in this life, but the Lord’s grace, love and healing are sufficient for you and me. Not only that, but the Bible says that God uses all situations for the good of those who love Him.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

Young Woman with Down Syndrome Ecstatic Over Party Invitation

A young woman with Down syndrome was absolutely ecstatic after receiving an invite to a birthday party.

People constantly want more and more, which is no way to live. No one wants to be around someone who is never satisfied with what they have been given. However, most people, if they are being honest with themselves, are guilty of this at one point or another. We simply don’t appreciate the ways in which our lives have been blessed enough.

If they would stop for a second and actually think about their lives, most people would likely realize that they have been blessed greatly. As is usually the case, we take things for granted. That’s why it’s always moving to see someone really appreciate and be grateful for something that most individuals would probably take for granted.

A clip posted on social media shows a young woman, Macy, who was overjoyed after receiving an invitation to a classmate’s birthday party. Macy, a ninth-grade student with Down syndrome, could not contain her excitement.

The young woman wasn’t the only one who reacted emotionally to the invitation. Macy's mother, the woman behind the camera, was actually brought to tears.

“I’m so happy for you,” the woman says to Macy.

The video’s caption explained why the birthday invite meant so much to the mother and daughter. The mother, who posted the video, wrote, “We can count on one hand the amount of birthday parties she’s been invited to by school peers/friends SINCE KINDERGARTEN!”

The mother ended her sweet Instagram post by adding, “Macy!!! You are deserving of every birthday party in the whole wide world.”

This clip shows how much of a difference a little kindness can make in someone’s life. Many people take birthday invitations for granted or toss them to the side. But to Macy and her mother, they meant the world.

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.”

Hulk Hogan On Faith, His Baptism And His 'Lord And Savior' Jesus Christ

Hulk Hogan discussed his faith, baptism, and his “Lord and Savior” Jesus Christ, during a fascinating conversation with CBN Sports, providing a deeper look at the wrestler who’s recognized worldwide.

Born Terry Gene Bollea on August 11, 1953, and known as Hulk Hogan by fans everywhere, the 70-year-old looks to be in great physical shape. As he shares during this deeply personal interview, it appears his soul and spiritual health are in pretty good shape as well!

Hulk Hogan lives in Clearwater Beach, Florida, where he owns a store and restaurant named Hogan’s Hangout. However, just a few miles away in Largo at Indian Rocks Baptist Church is where Hulk says he experienced the greatest moment of his life—being baptized (by Pastor Aaron Filippone) and publicly proclaiming his faith.

During the nearly 12-minute interview, Hulk talks about his upbringing, career and brand, friendships in the wrestling world, and perspective on faith. He says that he accepted Christ when he was 14 years old but became “derailed” along the way. Today, Terry is committed to proving that he is faithful and not making the same mistakes this time around.

When asked how he manages work and home, Hulk says that he is “just Terry” when he’s at home. There are no wrestling belts or photos in his home. He doesn’t wear his signature headband at home. However, he understands that when he leaves home, fans expect to meet Hulk Hogan. He says it is not just a job, and he’s very grateful for the Hulk Hogan character, which is often goofy by design, but he’s learned how to separate his work and personal life.

Hulk talks about his favorite career moment. It occurred after he wrestled against Iron Sheik in Madison Square Garden in January 1984. At the time, Iran was holding American hostages, and Hulk Hogan represented an all-American character. After the fight, his father told him how proud he was, and he admitted that Terry was right in making the choice he did; he had chosen to leave college and pursue wrestling, to the disappointment of his father.

Andre the Giant, who played Fezzik in The Princess Bride, was a good friend to Hulk. Hulk says that Andre was 7’4” tall, weighed 650 pounds, and had a rough life. He shares that what he most appreciated about Andre was his honesty, guidance, and enduring friendship. Andre the Giant died in 1993 when he was just 46 years old.

Hulk asks the host if he can share a story about another wrestler, and he goes on to talk about his relationship with Roddy Piper (a.k.a. Rowdy Roddy Piper). He and Roddy had not been friends in the ring; they disliked one another. However, in later years, they were friendly, and Hulk spoke to Roddy about faith. Roddy was asking questions and searching, but he’d never spoken about being a Christian or being saved. So, Hulk was tremendously moved when he heard a voice-mail message from Roddy that came in two days after his death. Rowdy Roddy said, “I’m just loving you my brother. I’m just walking with Jesus.”

The interviewer and Hulk Hogan touch on the interesting correlation between life and the ring. They discuss the difference between being a spectator or a wrestler in the ring. Are we Christians really living our faith, or are we in the stands? They also note that when wrestlers go “off script” in the ring, they mess with the already determined outcome of the match. We, as God’s followers, need to quit trying to write our own scripts and trust in the plan that God has for us.

It looks like Terry Bollea is all in and not done making moves. He’s got more to share with the world, and we are here for it!

Valedictorian Honors Late Father In Touching Graduation Speech

A speech unlike any other was delivered to fellow classmates of Alem Hadzic. This valedictorian honors his late father in his touching graduation speech. When the 18-year-old took the stage to deliver a speech at his recent high school graduation, he stood with trembling arms and mud-stained shoes. The valedictorian’s journey to this moment was fraught with profound emotion and immense strength.

May 16 was unlike any other day in Alem’s life. Earlier that morning, Alem had attended the funeral of his father, Miralem Hadzic, who had passed away on May 15 after a grueling battle with pancreatic cancer. Despite the heartache and the heavy burden of loss, Alem made the courageous decision to speak at his graduation ceremony.

"I didn’t know if I could give my speech. I knew I had to, but I didn’t know if I could," Alem recalled. His quiet demeanor and somber expression spoke volumes as he walked to the podium, his heart still raw from the morning’s farewell 45 minutes prior to graduation.

Some people, no doubt, were concerned about how quiet and withdrawn Alem had seemed. He had never shared with his classmates or teachers about his father’s battle with cancer until the moment he began his speech. The weight of grief was evident, but Alem’s determination to honor his father’s legacy was stronger.

Despite the emotional turmoil, Alem delivered a speech that resonated deeply with everyone present. His words, filled with raw honesty and heartfelt emotion, brought tears and a standing ovation from the audience. He went off script and began speaking from the heart. Alem revealed that his beloved dad had been diagnosed with cancer in January and he shared his father’s story to inspire his peers to understand their own motivations and to persevere in honor of their loved ones.

"I said that I didn't want to be up there, but I couldn't throw something away that he worked so hard for me to achieve. And that's why I'm going to college, and I'm going to work every single hour of every single day, and I'm going to do it for him," Alem recounted. Alem was humbled and grateful that his father had built a life by delivering pizzas after coming to America as an immigrant from Bosinia.

Alem’s words echoed the sentiment of Ephesians 6:2-3: “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—“so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy a long life on the earth.” His speech was a testament to his father's self-sacrificing spirit and unwavering support.

Despite the tremendous loss, Alem will carry the torch of his father’s legacy and continue to make his father proud even though he is no longer with the living. Alem's journey is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience that love and faith can provide. As he steps into the future, Alem carries with him the enduring legacy of his father's love and the profound impact of his unwavering support.

Ephesians 6:2-3 “Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;  that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”

Woman Fearlessly Runs After Bear to Protect Her Dog

A woman fearlessly ran after a large bear to protect her beloved dog from harm.

Animals are unique and fascinating creatures. They all have endless ways to keep us entertained, surprised and laughing. Those furry, four-legged beings also have a way of quickly finding their way into our hearts. It gets to the point that doing or celebrating anything significant without them feels wrong and out of place.

Many people who have animals will often say they are “fur parents” because they have “fur babies.” I think that sounds a bit odd, but to each their own. Just say you love your dog or cat, right?

Regardless, most pet owners would do absolutely anything for their canine or feline, including fighting off a black bear. A clip posted on YouTube shows that was precisely what Bailey Jacobsen did when she saw her German Shepherd, Zeus, being chased by a bear.

The situation begins when Zeus unknowingly encounters a mama bear and her cubs. Mama would not let any harm come to her babies, so she chases Zeus. Zeus, understanding that he is outmatched, starts high-tailing into the woods.

However, before Zeus and the upset mama bear disappeared into the wooded area, Bailey came across the disturbing scene. She immediately started screaming and then gave chase to the bear, hoping to take the bear’s focus off Zeus.

Bailey’s protective maneuver was successful. The mama bear then stopped chasing Zeus and started coming after her. Eventually, Bailey outran the animal, and the bear, caught on camera, stopped.

Thankfully, no one – the mama bear, Zeus or Bailey – was injured during the scary ordeal.

In an interview, Bailey admits that her actions at that moment were instinctual and she did not give it a second thought.

“For me, it was like an instinct,” she said. “It wasn’t even really a second thought, like, ‘Should I chase the bear?’ I’m like, ‘I’m going to.’

Candace Cameron Bure Shares Why The Book of Job Is A Favorite Of Hers

Actress and Christian Candace Cameron Bure stated that Job had become one of her favorite books in the Bible and explained her reasons for including it as one of her preferred books.

The Bible is essentially a guidebook and a blueprint for life. It’s a book with many stories, verses and books. Those stories and books include characters who can and do serve as examples for us today. They show us what to do and what not to do in certain situations.

One of the Bible’s most memorable characters is Job. According to Scripture, Job was a righteous and upright man of God. He was also incredibly blessed financially, had a large and loving family and was in perfect health.

As the Bible states, Job was then put through the wringer. He suffered great misery and loss. But even though he was enduring such pain and agony, Job remained a faithful servant and follower of God.

On her podcast, Candace stated that she loves the book of Job because of his stunning example of faithfulness and trust in God. She added that Job’s story is so great and powerful because it shows that the Lord never leaves us as we walk through life’s dark valleys.

“And what is so hopeful for me at the end of that book is that God gives him a double portion in the end,” she said. “God sees him. God sees him throughout. God is with him. God is directive the whole time through that book. And then he comes in and speaks to him.”

Everyone will go through horrible circumstances and situations in this life. It’s impossible to get through this life without being battered, bruised and beaten up. However, as Candace mentioned in the clip, God never leaves or forsakes. He understands our suffering and pain and offers comfort and healing.

Job 42:16 “And after this Job lived a 140 years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations.”

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore Share Heartwarming Moments with Their First Grandchild

Hollywood actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore have been captured on camera sharing heartwarming moments with their first grandchild.

Children will forever change your life. Becoming and being a parent is one of life’s greatest blessings. However, your life will never be the same after youngsters enter the picture. It will be significantly enhanced by the presence of those little ones walking about, learning and exploring a whole new world.

As wonderful as children are, all parents will find themselves exhausted trying to keep up with their little bundles of joy at one time or another. That’s when parents are grateful for grandparents, who are always happy to spend time with their grandchildren.

A clip posted on social media shows that actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are more than happy to spend time with their grandchild. The adorable clip shows images of Bruce and Demi doting on their first grandchild and staring lovingly at the precious child as Steve Wonder’s classic “Isn’t She Lovely” plays.

Children are precious gifts from the Lord. Just look at how Bruce and Demi lovingly gaze at their grandchild.

The video's text points out that the baby, Louetta Isley, is the child of Rumer Willis, Bruce and Demi’s oldest daughter.

Bruce and Demi are every grandparent when they are around their grandchildren. Nothing else in the world matters to them; they would do anything within their power for that child or children.

Plus, grandchildren get to do all the fun stuff with the kiddos because when the child gets tired and upset at the end of the day, they go back home to mom and dad. Grandpa and Grandma get to spoil the child, giving them everything and anything they want as they take in and cherish every precious moment with that child.

Proverbs 17:6 “Children’s children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their fathers.”

Father Battling Stage 4 Cancer Accompanies Daughter Down the Aisle

A father who is battling stage 4 cancer was able to accompany his daughter down the aisle at her wedding.

Weddings are beautiful ceremonies that mean so much to many people. It’s a moment when two people who love each other vow to remain together through life’s ups and downs. They are committed and agree before their friends, family and God that nothing will pull them apart.

However, besides the tear-jerking moment when the bride and groom finally say, “I do, " other points during the day’s festivities hold special significance. One of those instances is when the bride makes her way down the aisle, typically accompanied by her father. It’s when the father walks his little girl down the aisle and he literally hands her off to her eventual husband.

A clip posted on YouTube captures this special wedding moment between a father and his daughter. But this one was extra special because the bride’s father is battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

The young woman’s wedding ceremony was initially not scheduled for another couple of weeks. However, given the father’s condition, he did not think he would live to see his little girl get married. So, one California hospital got to work and made it so that the father could walk her down the aisle and see her get married.

The couple and the hospital made arrangements so that they could exchange vows in the medical facility’s chapel.

But that wasn’t all.

The man, given the dire nature of his health, is confined to a wheelchair. In order to allow him to accompany his daughter down the aisle, a nurse walked behind him with an IV stand.

It was a beautiful moment of love, care and kindness that everyone involved in will likely remember for years to come.

This clip proves yet again that doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals are a special group of people.

Colossians 3:14 “And more than all, have love; the only way in which you may be completely joined together.”

Abandoned Dog's Journey to Happiness Began With Trip To McDonald's

An abandoned and frightened dog’s long journey to happiness began with a trip to McDonald's, the world’s most famous fast-food chain.

While some fast-food chains may try to market themselves as healthier options, we all know better. Fast food is many things—convenient, quick and, in the right circumstances, delicious—but one thing it is definitely not is healthy. Every doctor will tell you to limit and possibly even avoid fast-food chains altogether.

However, fast food was precisely what one canine needed most. A clip posted on YouTube shows that it was good for the animal, at least for its mental health.

The short 3-minute clip begins with a kind woman approaching an abandoned dog and desperately trying to feed it. Those efforts weren’t very successful, so the woman decided to bring the animal into her home.

But the animal was so frightened and fearful that it refused to get up and walk independently. The canine refused to walk outside to use the restroom, so the woman had to physically pick the dog up and carry it outdoors.

If that wasn’t heartbreaking enough, the video shows the animal sitting in the woman’s car, trembling with fear. The woman knew she had to do something to help the animal calm down and become less fearful. So, they went to McDonald’s, where the animal enjoyed a portion of a McDonald’s cheeseburger.

Slowly but surely, after a handful of trips to McDonald’s and several bites of cheeseburgers, Cocoa Bean began to be less fearful, and a dramatic change started to occur in the animal.

After Cocoa Bean’s transformation, the animal was eventually adopted, finding happiness and a forever home. Since its adoption, Cocoa Bean has continued to visit McDonald’s and eat cheeseburgers.

Who says fast food isn’t healthy (everyone!)? A trip to McDonald’s was exactly what Cocoa Bean needed!

While Cocoa Bean loves their cheeseburgers, it’s unclear how the dog feels about the fast-food chain’s world-famous fries.
