Two teens perform a beautiful rendition of The Doxology inside a cathedral.
The Doxology is one of the most recognized pieces of Christian music in the entire world. Many churches still sing these words together each and every Sunday.
“Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.”
Thomas Ken wrote these iconic words in 1674.
Now, two teenagers are standing inside a cathedral singing each word with love and praise. The combination of their skill vocals and the acoustics in the building give this classic song a hauntingly beautiful feel.
As each note is sung out loud, you can truly feel God’s spirit wash over you. What a refreshing performance from this duo.
It’s always such a blessing to see the next generation worshipping our Lord and sharing His incredible message. When we join our voices in song, we are creating joyful noise for all of the world to hear. What a blessing, indeed.
1 Chronicles 16:23-27 “23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.
24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
25 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
27 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.”
