Spring Service Day 2011

These are highlights from the spring service day, which centered around our school year theme of "Whatever," based on Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Balance in a Man's Life

The circus performer who walks the tightrope understands that one skill is needed more than any other, and it is balance. I remember watching the women's marathon at the summer Olympics in 1984. One competitor still stands out in my mind. She entered the coliseum for the last lap completely dehydrated and off-balance, listing to her left side and swinging her right hand.
