One brave woman is helping others learn self-defense after surviving a very frightening gym attack.

Twenty-four-year-old Nashali Alma lives in Tampa, Florida. Recently, she was working out at the gym in her apartment complex when a fellow tenant in the building came into the space and attacked her. As the man was trying to grab Nashali and chase her around the gym, she put up a fight and got away. And the scary incident was caught on the security camera.

Now, Nashali has teamed up with Youfit Gyms and instructor Jason Bleistein to help teach self-defense classes to other women. And Nashali also shared about her terrifying attack to show others how she was able to get away.

“He kept coming toward me, so we ended up here around the bench, where he was on the other side here, and we were going back and forth. I was trying to create some space,” said Nashali.

“When she ran, she put a bench between her and the attacker and used obstacles, which we teach all the time,” added instructor Jason Bleistein. “She was making it very clear, ‘Get off of me!’”

Then Nashali talked about the part of the attack that was not caught on the security camera. “He tries to put me in a chokehold, and I wiggle out of that, and I was able to elbow him in the face, and I grabbed his beard hairs. I see that he’s hurt, so that’s when I was able to get up, and I just ran out the door.”

“I wasn’t fearful,” she continued. “It was more like, ‘I won’t let this man touch me.’ It was just all instinct to react to it, fight back, be vocal, fight!”

Way to never give up, Nashali! And how wonderful it is that she is now teaching these helpful skills to other women.

“When you’re in these situations, you know, a lot of people freeze,” Nashali said. “But if you take these classes, you get to gain the confidence and the empowerment to fight back.”

A member of the judicial system showed extraordinary love, kindness and grace for a woman undergoing an extremely unpleasant time in life.

Everyone will experience difficult circumstances and trying periods in life. Not many people will escape life without being battered and bruised at times. These periods can often be devastating, leaving some wondering whether they will make it. A kind act may not appear to be much, but it can make a world of difference to someone struggling.

Judge Frank Caprio, featured on “Caught In Providence” did just that for a young woman unable to catch a break. The benevolent judge informs her that she’s appearing before him because her vehicle has been fitted with a boot. Additionally, she has accumulated a few tickets.

The woman then states that she is currently dealing with several issues. The judge, who always considers the situations of those who appear before him, asks about her predicament.

She tells the judge that she’s being stalked, is living in her car because she’s homeless and that the only money she has is the $5 in her pocket.

The judge, who wants to help the young woman, issues his ruling.

“It’s mandatory,” Judge Caprio said. “I’m going to order a $100 boot fee. I’m going to charge you $300 for the tickets. So, you’re going to own $400. Three hundred dollars of that will be paid by the Philomena Fund.”

The judge then goes on to explain how the fund works.

“Philomena Fund is a fund that’s named after my mom,” he says. “It consists of monies that are sent from all over the world for the court to use its discretion to help people that are in need.”

He says the boot is going to be removed from her vehicle and will give her her car back. Also, before the clip ends, the judge states he’s giving her an additional $50 for her to eat.

The claw clip is a popular hair accessory used by many women to keep their hair in place. But you’ll never believe how this simple clip ended up injuring one teenage girl.

Eighteen-year-old Paisley Riley was wearing a claw clip in her hair when she got into an accident while riding an all-terrain vehicle. The vehicle flipped over, and Paisley hit her head, which lodged the claw clip into her scalp. After being rushed to the hospital, Paisley got five staples put into her scalp to fix her head injury. 

Paisley’s mom never thought that this kind of accident could happen with a hair clip. “And I wear hair clips all the time,” she said.

After getting home from the hospital, Paisley shared the story about her accident on TikTok to warn others about the dangers that claw clips can present. And the video received over 58 million views!

Now people are cognisant of just how damaging those claw clips can be to your head if you get into an accident. One piece of advice to prevent this was given by Audra Fordham, who runs an auto shop in New York. She shared: “Put it on the top of your head so that your hair and your hair clip do not make contact with your headrest.”

Thankfully, Paisley’s head is healing nicely after her accident. And thanks to her video, many others have been warned about how to avoid having a similar situation happen to them.

One grandfather has gotten a lot of attention for using toys found in his suitcase to make sweet, touching videos for his granddaughter.

Generally, vacation is considered a time to sit back, relax and take it easy. Most people seek out a warmer climate, turn their minds off for a few days and do not allow the worries of everyday living to concern them. Staying on a tight schedule or doing anything remotely resembling work will not happen during these rest and relaxation periods. 

However, one loving grandpa went to work after making a startling discovery in his suitcase after arriving at his Mexican destination for a wedding.

David Zielke found several Peppa the Pig toys when unpacking. His granddaughter, Lisette, had placed the toys in her grandad’s suitcase. Instead of simply ignoring the toys, David came up with an idea.

“So, I was like, ‘You know what?’” David said. “’ I’m going to film everything we do. Hopefully, my son or daughter can put together a video and give it to her, like, as a gift.’”

Tanya Zielke, one of David’s daughters who made the trip to Mexico, began filming her father making the videos for her niece and posted them online. People instantly fell in love with David’s sweet and loving gesture and requested more content about this grandfather’s filmmaking adventures.

David filmed the toys swimming, sunbathing and taking a trip to see the whales, among other things. However, David admits not everything that happened on the trip made it into the video.

“We were doing a tequila tasting,” David said. “That didn’t make the cut.”

The reaction from David’s granddaughter, 5-year-old Lisette, to the video was precious and priceless. The child, who speaks English and French, couldn’t contain her excitement, using both languages to express her joy.

At the end of the video, David provided a heartfelt and emotional voiceover and stated why he created the video for his beautiful granddaughter.

“I think one of the joys of being a grandparent is kind of appreciate your temporary nature of life, you know what I mean?” David said. “We’re further along on our road. And so, you kind of realize, you know, let’s make these moments special. Let’s make these moments precious.”

What a simple but meaningful way for a grandfather to show his grandchild how much he loves and adores her.

Watch this emotional moment when a woman sees a sign from God at her boyfriend’s grave. This woman’s boyfriend passed away in 2018. She went to visit his grave when deer were grazing on the grass by her boyfriend’s grave. 

While this may not seem like a miracle to you, it is for this woman. Through her tears, she said, “I love deer. They’re a symbolic animal to me.” She then added, “This is literally God. I was praying, ‘Dear God, please let him know that he was loved, and I think this is something I needed today.” 

Isn’t that so true? God will give us little signs to remind us he is present in our circumstances. Whether it’s a moment when you need grace, comfort, or solace, he reminds us He is with us. 

If we keep our faith focused on Him, God will regularly communicate with us as a quiet whisper in our hearts. In the Good Book, God constantly sent signs through messengers, like Elijah, Jonah, Jacob, John The Baptist, and Jesus Christ. 

He also used his creation, like birds, to feed Elijah or the donkey to Balaam. God even communicated with animals in the story of Noah to lead them aboard the ark. 

I pray this woman’s heart will forever be touched by this moment as a reminder God was with her in her pain and loss. What a beautiful moment in spite of tragic circumstances. 

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows,” Matthew 10:29-31. 

One young child had a cute and surprisingly very introspective discussion with his mother about emotions, feelings and choices.

It’s easy to overlook a child’s temper tantrum or any other instance in which they act out for attention. However, children, even at a young age, possess a lot of emotional intelligence. Often, they can express themselves with a stunning amount of clarity and coherence.

In a video posted to YouTube, a 4-year-old child sat down and had a remarkably deep conversation with his mother about emotions, processing them and life in general. 

The short and cute video begins with the little guy addressing his mother, telling her how much she hurt his feelings. He also explains how his feelings at the time affected his decision and “why he didn’t want to make this, a smart choice.”

The video then cuts to the child and his mother sitting down, having a face-to-face conversation. He explains that he was crushed when he was unable to go outside. However, the boy’s mother responds to the youngster that his not being allowed to go outside was the result of his actions. 

The mother is using this episode to teach her son a life lesson. It's one that will serve him well throughout the rest of his days. The 4-year-old is learning that his choices – good or bad – come with consequences. 

He then tells his mother that his sadness eventually turned into something else.

“But after I was a little bit sad, I was a little bit upset, more than you know,” the child says. 

The mother then uses this occasion to dispense another life lesson. No one ever gets what they want all the time, mom responds. 

Mom also explains that life is filled with emotional situations like that at times. People get upset, become angry and even shed a few tears. 

The child answers his mother stating, “That’s emotions, mamma.”

What a beautiful and short video, which perfectly illustrates how intelligent and perceptive children are to feelings and situations.

We all are aware of what safety matches are. The Safety Matches have matchsticks that help to light the fire (we know this is the basic thing to consider).

One animal who needed assistance walked around, searching for help, but was eventually forced to get herself help and found her way to a vet’s office.

As the saying goes, dogs are man’s best friend. Canines are often kind, loyal and loving, making for great companions. Like humans, dogs are also part of God’s creation and deserve love and kindness as a result. 

A video posted to YouTube shows an animal, a pregnant dog in labor begging for someone, anyone to help her. Text in the video states that the canine had previously been abandoned by her owner, forcing the animal to seek assistance on her own.

In the tear-jerking video, the animal, who is 63 days pregnant, walked up and down streets and approached gates hoping to find someone kind enough to get her medical attention. The video adds that the animal walked up to one door, whined and pawed at the door for hours but no one came to her rescue. 

Eventually, the animal in labor found her way to a veterinarian’s office, who gave her the help she so desperately needed. Realizing the dog was in labor, the vet and his team sprang into action, helping the animal deliver her 12 puppies!

The video shows the newly born, cute little puppies helping themselves, battling one another as they nurse on their mom. 

But the story does not end there! 

The video informs viewers that the dog, who walked herself to a local vet’s office, has found a new and loving home. The veterinarian who helped deliver the puppies took in the abandoned animal. 

Those medical professionals showed extraordinary kindness, love and compassion for an animal in need. Animals are part of God’s creation and deserve so much more than being dumped and abandoned like unwanted pieces of trash.

One video details the devastating and deadly impact of shaken baby syndrome.

Children are the most precious and vulnerable members of society. They rely upon their mother and father for food, clothing and shelter. A baby’s survival depends on the kindness, love and care of someone else. 

A video posted to YouTube shows the dramatic, harmful and deadly change that one child underwent due to shaken baby syndrome. The video, narrated by the infant’s mother, begins by showing a photo of the infant prior to the abuse.

Several more photos of the baby show what appears to be a healthy child, including one picture in which the child rests in her mother’s arms as another little girl peers down at the child.

The accompanying narration from the mother informs viewers that Christa, her daughter, was born a “healthy baby girl” who “up until three months old had no medical issues.”

However, after Christa turned three months old, she was “shaken by her biological father,” according to the video.

Following the abuse, Christa developed a whole host of medical issues. The video informs viewers that the sweet little baby girl was “diagnosed with seizures, cerebral palsy and many other disabilities.” 

The video also shows awful, tear-jerking images of Christa in a hospital bed with several tubes attached to her body. Sadly, though, the child only lived to be three years old.

The woman providing the voiceover says she put the video in order to “raise awareness.”

What a heartbreaking and heart-wrenching video that would have been for the mother to put together. But in doing so, the mother also shows tons of strength and resiliency. Her video could save a child's life, keeping another parent from experiencing similar grief and sadness. 

Children are precious gifts from the Lord. Children, like all gifts, must be cherished, treasured, loved and protected. 

Psalm 127:3 “See, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

One father has gone to great lengths to bond with his daughters and has gotten attention for it.

Children, while growing up, will explore and try out many different sports and activities. Playing little league, soccer, basketball and football are some of the more popular things children do. Parents may enjoy their children's chosen activities. Unfortunately, there will be other things kids want to do that mom and dad hate with a burning passion. 

However, for one father, his children weren’t interested in soccer or basketball. His two daughters wanted to cheer. So, being a loving, caring and attentive parent, Michael dove headfirst into the competitive world of cheerleading.

Michael and his two daughters – Annabelle and Josie – appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where they talked about their dad supporting their interest and love of cheerleading. Videos even show Michael learning and performing the cheers with his daughters!

Michael explained that his daughters got involved in cheerleading a couple of years ago and he has since come to love and appreciate the sport. 

“I taught myself how to teach them how to do cheers,” Michael said. “Every day we’ll go outside, we’ll stunt in the front yard. I’ll help them with their tumbling, and it’s really been a bonding experience between all three of us.”

Annabelle confessed that Michael has come a long way and is getting better at the sport.

“He’s getting better every time I teach him because when we stunt in the yard and work on our flexibility,” she said. “And he’s a great dad.”

Josie mentioned that Michael is a supportive and dedicated father who never misses one of her cheer competitions. 

What a terrific example of an incredible and loving father! Those two young girls will remember for the rest of their lives the memories their father created with them while cheering.

The attempt did not turn out how they expected, so the great-grandma decides to roll down the snowy hill.

We also see a video of Chuck Branskey, who is 96-years-old, dancing the floss to Dean Martin. Afterwards, a 94-year-old named Gracie is seen graduating and receiving her high school degree. She dropped out at age 16 to get married and worked as a school bus driver for many years, now she has a diploma. Then, we view Joel, a car man. He loves to cruise in his convertible. Lastly, we see a group of senior citizens recreating Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show. The women are adorable. The group shares about how they are active at their home and love to dance. Watching them brings joy to our faces as we witness fun times and people living life to the fullest.

Even though some people might look down on the elderly, the Bible makes it clear that God values them and they are to be respected and still have a beautiful purpose. It is a blast watching these older people live their dreams.

“And I will still be carrying you when you are old. Your hair will turn gray, and I will still carry you. I made you, and I will carry you to safety.” Isaiah 46:4
