Family’s Fantastic ‘Praise The Lord’ Cover Will Lift Your Spirit

This family’s fantastic ‘Praise The Lord’ cover will lift your spirit and warm your heart. The loving family of six is sincere and impressive in their musical unity. Watch the clip to see them come together in an act of praise.

The second youngest of the group, 9-year-old Westin Asidor, is the leading voice throughout the whole song. His childish and sweet voice sounds endearing against the vocals of his family: his two parents, two older sisters, and his younger sister. It’s obvious that each individual is an experienced singer. They all harmonize together masterfully. The family also saves the best part for last. At the end of the song, young Westin lets out an incredibly powerful, lingering note that the average singer would certainly struggle to sing.

In the video, the family walks and sings together in a beautiful pond-filled park. They wear similar formal and tasteful old-fashioned clothes and seem to enjoy themselves as they spend time together in musical bliss. There are a few different songs called ‘Praise the Lord’ out there, but the song they’re singing is by The Imperials. Some of the lyrics are:

‘Praise the Lord
He can work through those
Who praise Him
Praise the Lord’

‘Praise the Lord’ is all about choosing not to fall in the pitfalls of Satan and remembering the one who holds you up. It’s a powerful reminder that no matter what situation you’re in, you can praise the Lord. Even when Daniel was placed at the jaws of lions, he kneeled, prayed, and praised the Lord. As believers, we are united in our faith and share the Holy Spirit. Through our strength in Jesus Christ, we can be just like Daniel and give praise to God in the most trying of circumstances.

“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”  Hebrews 13 :15

Beloved Hymn ‘Nearer My God to Thee’ Gets Soul-Stirring Rendition

The long-beloved hymn ‘Nearer My God to Thee’ gets a soul-stirring rendition in this new YouTube Video from the youthful Hudson Harmony Band. With beautiful musical notes of cello, piano, and vocals against stunning backdrops, it’s both a wonderful visual and auditory piece of work. Watch the clip to see the group’s devoted performance.

The video shows the singers performing at the Valley View Bible Church in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The church features old brickwork and large, beautiful panes of stained glass. The video switches from the singers to views of awesome-looking churches across the world, each in a dazzling place surrounded by gorgeous scenery.

The harmonious group of young people could not have picked a better song to sing. ‘Nearer My God to Thee’ is a hopeful old hymn that speaks about how every passing day is a day closer to heaven, and the group sings it well. Some of the lyrics are:

‘Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down,
darkness be over me, my rest a stone;
yet in my dreams I'd be
nearer, my God, to thee’

The hymn was written in 1841 by Sarah Flower Adams. She wrote over the span of one week to accompany her pastor’s sermon on “Jacob’s Ladder,” also known as “Jacob’s dream.” It was originally set to music by her sister, Eliza Flower.

It’s believed that ’“Nearer My God to Thee’ is what the band on the Titanic was playing when it sank in 1912. There are few song legacies that can match that. Sarah’s hymn has remarkable longevity that will likely continue for many years to come.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Twin Brothers Deliver Powerful Rendition of Gospel Classic

Twin brothers deliver a powerful rendition of the Gospel classic, ‘Old Time Religion.’ Picture this: two silver-haired twin brothers, standing side by side in their basement living room like they’ve done for decades—matching flannel shirts, weathered ball caps, and socks catching on the carpet like a couple of teenage boys who never grew out of the joy of music and mischief. Guitars in hand, grins stretched wide across their timeworn faces, and voices full of grit, grace, and gospel.

That’s what the Haneline Twins gave us when they broke out into a soul-lifting, toe-tapping rendition of this old, dusty hymn.  And let me tell you—they didn’t just sing it. They brought it back to life.

The second that first chord hit, I swear I could smell cornbread in a cast iron skillet and feel the thump of a wooden pew under my Sunday dress. It was like being transported back to Vacation Bible School in the ‘70s, where Aunt Jean’s voice would rise above the little upright piano, and somebody’s baby was always crawling down the aisle with a fistful of animal crackers.

These brothers didn’t need a choir, a stage, or a sound system. But their signing was pure, warm, and seasoned—like Sunday roast after church. You could hear the years in their voices. You could feel the fire of their faith. And when they reached that line…

“It was good for Paul and Silas…”

…well, I about shouted “YES IT WAS!” right there at my kitchen table. Because that old-time religion is not just a song, it’s the faith that carried us through hospital rooms, heartbreak, and hard seasons. It’s the faith that saw your mama praying at the sink with sudsy hands and a worn Bible on the counter. It’s the steady, roots-deep kind of belief that doesn’t get old. It ages well, like these sweet men with their graying beards and spark in their eyes.

And let’s talk about the dancing. Oh mercy—it was the kind of joyful, shoulder-bobbing, foot-tapping shuffle that just makes you grin until your cheeks hurt. They were celebrating the God who carried them through wars, wounds, and wild dreams—and still shows up in their living room.

When they got to the verse:
‘Makes me love ev’rybody…’

I just sat there with tears in my eyes and a laugh caught in my throat. Because that’s what the old-time religion really does—it softens the bitter places. It breaks down the walls. It reminds you who you are and whose you are.

So if you need a pick-me-up today, something more than coffee and far better than scrolling the news, watch these two. Let the music wash over you like a baptism of joy. Let their voices remind you of front porch hymns, potluck dinners, and a Jesus who still saves and sings over us.

Jeremiah 6:16  “This is what the Lord says: ‘Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.’”

Jordan Smith’s Stirring ‘How Great Thou Art’ Live Performance

Jordan Smith turned in a stirring live performance of “How Great Thou Art.” The former winner of “The Voice” dazzled with an outstanding rendition of the beloved church hymn. Watch the short but powerful clip to see and hear Jordan’s awe-inspiring rendition.

When it comes to church music, nothing will ever top those old hymns. Yes, there are plenty of fantastic contemporary Christian songs from many incredibly talented musicians. But those songs do not even come close to matching the hymns. Hymns are so beautifully and powerfully written, and who would ever be against hearing a hymn during a church service?

While it’s evident to all that hymns are far superior to contemporary Christian music, some hymns still stand out among the rest. Of course, you can probably quickly name them, which include “Amazing Grace,” “Great is Thy Faithfulness, “It is Well with My Soul” and “Blessed Assurance,” among others.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jordan performs another one of those classic hymns, “How Great Thou Art,” which is near and dear to the hearts of many. Jordan, an incredibly talented musician, shows why he won “The Voice.” His version has a slightly different sound and feel than you’re probably used to, but the moving and powerful words are still the same.

No matter how many times you may have heard that song, those words remain as powerful and relevant as ever. He is still worthy of all praise, glory and honor. None of us would have a chance without Him and the forgiveness and love he so freely provides. We’d all be lost, but Christ forever changed everything for humanity because of His great love for us.

“Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art”

How great Thou art, indeed!

Hebrews 13:15 “Let us then make offerings to God at all times through him, that is to say, the fruit of lips giving witness to his name.”

Pat Barrett Releases Powerful ‘Praise The Lord Forever’ Lyric Video

Pat Barrett has released the lyric video for his powerful, moving song “Praise the Lord Forever.” This song and its beautifully crafted official lyric video are not to be missed. Watch the short clip to view the lyric video for Pat Barrett’s tune “Praise the Lord Forever.”

Everyone has stumbled and fallen, and many have the scars to prove it. No one is perfect, not even close. Try as we might, perfection for human beings is an impossibility. As the Bible states in Romans, all have sinned and come up well short of God’s glory.

But despite our sins and disobedience, we can be forgiven. Jesus Christ willingly died, going to the cross, where He gave up Himself, taking our place and enduring our punishment. The blood He shed on Calvary can now wash away sins, making people new creations in Christ. His love and forgiveness are freely offered to all; we simply have to ask for forgiveness and accept those wonderful, life-changing and life-saving gifts.

In Pat’s beautifully written and catchy song, he sings about the difference Christ has made in the lives of those who have been forgiven and accepted His love, mercy and grace. Christ is worthy of all glory, honor and praise for the forgiveness, hope and life that He provides.

“All you citizens of heaven
Sons and daughters of the Lord
Come on church
Lift your voice and sing”

For the difference Christ has made in countless lives and the blessings He continues to bestow freely, what other way can you adequately thank Him? There is no way to express gratitude due to Him properly but to praise Him forever, even that will never be enough. How can you thank someone for providing hope when there was none and offering everlasting life?

Psalm 117:1-2 “Let all nations give praise to the Lord: let all the people give him praise. For great is his mercy to us, and his faith is unchanging forever. Praise be to the Lord.”

Kari Jobe’s Powerful Live ‘Who Else’ Performance

Kari Jobe’s powerful live ‘Who Else’ performance is totally awe-inspiring and wonderful. As you listen, you’ll be asking yourself the same question Kari does in the song: ‘Who else is worthy?’ Watch the clip to see the incredible performance and hear the song’s meaningful words.

In a video of the live performance, Kari starts out on a stage basked in a yellow glow. She wears a humble sweater and jeans. She sings most of the lyrics with her eyes shut, putting all of her focus on the words she sings:

‘Who else is worthy? Who else is worthy?
There is no one, only You, Jesus
You are the infinite God of the ages
Yet You chose to make my heart Your dwelling place’

About five minutes into the eight-minute track, Kari gets on her knees and lifts her hands for the remainder of the song while other singers lead the vocals. The video shows the singers and the crowd from many angles, giving you an immersive feeling like you’re right there with everyone else who’s worshipping and lifting their hands.

There is such power in Kari’s performance as she sings. The whole place, which looks to be filled with over a thousand people, has the appearance of being completely absorbed in worship through the song. You can easily see Kari’s passion as she sings—she absolutely pours her soul into the music.

When Kari and her band finished their performance, many in the audience, moved by the worship session, shouted and clapped.

Those who wish to worship with Kari can on her Grace & Glory Tour. She is currently touring and will be singing in cities across the U.S. until the end of October.

“Worthy art thou, our Lord and our God, to receive the glory and the honour and the power: for thou didst create all things, and because of thy will they were, and were created.” Revelation 4:11

William Murphy - The Devil Didn't Get Away With It

Listen to William Murphy's "The Devil Didn't Get Away With It."

Lyric Video for Phil Wickham's Powerful 'Homesick for Heaven

Feeling nostalgic? Then you’ll love this new lyric video for Phil Wickham’s powerful ‘Homesick for Heaven.’ There’s something about the quiet hum of a long ride that pulls us back into reflection—back to the winding roads of our lives, the ones we’ve walked through joy and sorrow, birth and loss, laughter and waiting.

That’s where Phil takes us in his new, amazing video takes us.. It gently whispers our longings—just like those holy moments we’ve lived and loved and buried deep in our hearts.

In the video, Phil sits alone, traveling by bus through America’s heartland. You can almost smell the rain on the road. The camera pans over quiet landscapes—fields brushed with gold, barns weathered with stories, and long stretches of road that feel like prayers. And there he is, quietly watching, reflecting... as if he’s listening for the sound of heaven in the stillness.

And then he sings:

‘My heart belongs to a country and a King,
Of a land I’ve always known.’

Something about that line catches you in your chest, doesn’t it? Because we know what that ache is.
It’s the longing we carry after the kids have grown. It’s the quiet we sit with after funerals. It’s the tears we cry when no one else is watching—when the world keeps moving but something in us aches for what’s eternal.

It’s not just nostalgia. It’s the soul remembering where it truly belongs.

At this age and stage, we’ve seen enough of life to know it’s beautiful—and broken. We’ve lost people we didn’t want to say goodbye to. We’ve held hands tighter than we thought possible. We’ve learned that nothing here satisfies the way Jesus does. So when Phil sings about being homesick for heaven, we understand.

This lyric video isn’t just a piece of music—it’s an invitation to remember. To remember that we were made for more. To recall that heaven isn’t a fairy tale—it’s a forever place. And it’s realer than the hard things we’ve walked through.

Watching Phil quietly ride and reflect, you begin to feel it too—that hush of eternity pulling close. That gentle reminder that the aches, the questions, the gray hair, the time slipping through our fingers—it’s all leading us Home. Because the older we get, the more heaven starts to feel like a place we know.

So let the tears come. Let your heart long. Let the song wash over you like a memory you’ve almost forgotten—but not quite. Let your heart long for heaven and let it fill with the joy of what we will feel one day!

Jesus is preparing that place. And one day soon, our hearts will finally be at rest.

Until then, we hold the longing. Because longing means we’ve loved deeply. And that love? It leads us home.

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:20

Praise and Worship Team's Stirring ‘Available’ Cover

You’ll be wowed and amazed by this praise and worship team's stirring ‘Available’ cover. It’s no ordinary worship service. Watch the clip to see their incredible and dedicated performance.

First Baptist Clarksville in Tennessee gave it their all in their performance of Elevation Worship’s ‘Available’ last week. With two women leading vocals, an entire choir of backup vocals, and musicians on the piano, guitar, and drums, the performance is altogether beautiful, moving, slow, and sweet.

The song is all about obedience to God and listening for when he calls. When he asks, the answer is nothing other than “Yes, Lord, I am available.” It echoes Paul’s letter in Romans 12:1, which speaks of being “a living sacrifice” for God. We are called to be available to him, listening for his will.

Some of the lyrics are:

‘Broken as my life may be
I will give You every piece
I hear You call
I am available’

The worship team sings the song with such steady care and intention. Each word is sung with reverence. First Baptist Clarksville’s worship team performs many other songs full of spiritual meaning that they share on their YouTube channel. Other videoed performances include ‘Gratitude,’ ‘Trust In God,’ and ‘Good Plans.’ The song, ‘Available,’ was significant for the church’s congregation because its pastor was about to speak on the future of their church.

The worship team “presented this song with willing hearts as a church to serve Jesus in any way!” the church explained

This performance is a powerful reminder that we are of importance to God. He desires to use us for his glory, but for that, we must be available.

“Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.” Deuteronomy 13:4
