Pastor Derald Skinner

Bio
Pastor Derald Skinner received his ordination in 1984, and became an Associate Pastor in Southern California at Calvary Chapel West Covina. He moved to Oahu in 1988 where he became an Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel Honolulu. Along with pastoral duties he also managed the Christian radio station KLHT. Since leaving that position in 1994 he has become the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor. His missionary outreaches have included travel to Israel, Europe, South America, China, the Philippines, Australia and Korea.
Currently, Pastor Derald’s Bible teachings can be heard locally Monday through Friday on KLHT radio 1040AM at 11:30am, 91.5FM Monday -Friday at 7:00am, KGU Radio 760AM & KGU 95.5FM The Word at 4:30pm, plus national and international radio broadcasts on 372 stations every Saturday on CSN (Calvary Satellite Network). You can also catch him on a weekly live phone-in broadcast of "To Every Man An Answer" on CSN every Thursday Afternoon.
Pastor Derald is married to Sue and they have two children together, Joshua and Kamerra. Derald and Sue have a heart for Hawaii’s keiki and the sanctity of life. In 2000, Derald founded Pearl Harbor Christian Academy, Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor’s Christian private school, which educates students from K3-8th grade in Central Oahu. Along side, Sue, he has a heart for the unborn children and individuals wounded by abortion. Together, Sue and Derald opened, A Place for Women in Waipio, a pro-life care and counseling center in June 2010. Derald continues to serve the Lord through reaching the people of the islands and the nation with the love of Jesus Christ. “Go for God!”
