Grammy award-winning artist John Legend teams up with Voice finalist Jershika Maple for a stunning rendition of ‘O Holy Night.’ This beloved Christmas song was written by poet and author Placide Cappeau in 1843, with music composed by Adolphe Adam. This well-known Christmas hymn is one of the most popular songs during the holiday season as it speaks to the magnitude of the birth of our Savior. “O holy night the stars are brightly shining It is the night of our dear Savior's birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth” Week after week, The Voice contestant Jershika Maple impressed the judges with her powerful vocals and hypnotizing personality. 24-year-old Jershika grew up singing gospel music and she continued that tradition during her time on the show. She covered songs such as ‘God Only Knows’ and ‘Break Every Chain.’ But today’s Christmas performance with coach John Legend might be her best number yet. Just listen as these two incredible artists come together on stage for a dazzling performance of ‘O Holy Night.’ “Fall on your knees O hear the angels' voices O night divine O night when Christ was born” Jershika ended up placing fifth in the competition but with a voice like that, there’s no doubt that we’ll be seeing this young talent for years to come. One devoted granddaughter is moved to tears as she witnesses her 95-year-old grandmother fulfill her bucket list by dancing with Singer Marc Anthony!

Marc Anthony spots a large red poster to the right of the stage. The sign lists a few items already accomplished by Felicia (“Fela”) Rodríguez González and one thing that she’d yet like to experience while here on earth.

Marc Anthony reads the poster to the cheering crowd. Fela has reached the impressive age of 95. She survived Hurricane Maria, which hit her home in Puerto Rico in 2017, and she beat COVID! But, she has not danced with Marc Anthony, and that’s the goal for the evening.

Fela’s granddaughter Linda Cristina Santiago created the call to action and accompanied Fela for the evening. She is clearly as excited as Fela when Marc Anthony reaches out to them and then invites Fela to join him. Next, we see Fela onstage. While she might have needed a bit of help getting there, she is in great shape. Her 5 children and 50+ grands and greats have probably kept her moving! Not only is she fit, she has got rhythm.

Marc Anthony offers her his arm, she grabs onto him, and they saunter toward the audience. Once in position, they salsa for a few moments, and the handsome star gives her a twirl. He embraces Fela, giving her an amazing hug and a kiss on the cheek! It really is a beautiful moment!

Marc Anthony’s fan base already appreciates his voice and dance moves, but it’s likely that the talented and good-looking artist won many new fans that evening with his genuine act of kindness. And, Fela may need to start a new list, because this joyful woman looks like she’s got lots of days ahead. Robert Duvall does a mean tango!

A woman sings a powerful rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ in a canyon and it's just incredible. This video will have you humming the song the rest of the day and possibly inspire you to find a canyon and test out your vocal cords.

While on a trip to Utah, one hiker couldn’t help but take out his video and record what was happening in front of him. A woman further up the trail took a moment to sing for the Lord. As her voice echoed through the canyon, it brought “Amens” and “Hallelujahs” from those who had the incredible chance to listen to her.

The hiker then posted the video online with the caption, "Came across this lady singing in a canyon in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah."

Can you imagine going for a hike on a gorgeous day and taking in the beauty of all the things God created like the canyon in this video? You’re walking along and taking in the stunning arches and the beauty of nature and then hear someone like this woman singing?

Even though you can’t see the woman singing, you can see others in the video stop to pull out their phones to record the beautiful song as it echoes and reverberates off the canyon walls. It is truly captivating and reminds you just how amazing our great God is.

I imagine for those who had the privilege of hearing this woman sing, it made their hike extra special. Thank you to the person who posted this video online! It’s an incredible reminder of how nature even echoes the glory of our mighty God.

Sometimes the runner who is the fastest doesn’t win the race. The man who is the strongest doesn’t always win the fight and the one who considers himself the wisest won’t always accumulate the most. WHY? Because time and Chance happen to us all because we are HUMAN, and the human soul sometimes gets it wrong, and the mind and perception of mankind is quite different than the perfect mind of the Highest God!

Yes, this unpredictable life we live requires Wisdom, Guidance, the Holy Spirit, and Prayer. Without those mandatory prerequisites, the desert becomes dryer, and the map of life dimmer, and the horizon further away.

Without the Wisdom of God, we miss out on the execution of the establishment of the favor of God on our lives, and the lives of our families.

Without God’s Guidance, we would wander around throughout this world, exiting the entrance door, and entering the exit doors of life.

And without Prayer which is our communication with God, we would live without the protection that has been granted to us through salvation, never receiving answers to our questions or clarity to the quandaries that we face.
