Pam Rose - Ave Maria

Born in Chattanooga, she moved with her family to Atlanta, then to the East Coast of Florida, near Cape Canaveral, on the Indian River, where she spent her formative years. After majoring in Music at Florida State University, she lived in Atlanta and was mentored by long time friend and colleague of Ramsey Lewis, jazz musician Paul Mitchell.
With longtime writing partner Mary Ann Kennedy, Rose has been nominated for two GRAMMY Awards and has won praise for her powerful alliance with Mary Ann as the acclaimed duo Kennedy Rose. The twosome won the ear of rock star Sting and recorded two CDs for his private label Pangaea Records, a label he founded for “uncategorizable music”. As an added treat, they were asked to open for him on one of his World Tours. As special guests of Emmylou Harris, Kennedy Rose also performed twice for President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton, and later at the Nobel Peace Prize Presentation in Oslo, Norway.
For the better part of 2016, Kennedy & Rose reunited with Emmylou Harris to tour as an acoustic trio, spotlighting the duo and treating the crowds to their impressive 3-part blend with Harris.

'Silent Night' Christmas Hymn From Country Star Gabby Barrett

Check out this beautiful performance of the Christmas hymn ‘Silent Night’ from country star Gabby Barrett. “Silent night, holy night! All is calm, all is bright. Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child, Holy infant so tender and mild, Sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace” The music video shows Gabby Barrett performing ‘Silent Night’ at this year’s CMA Country Christmas Show. It is a beautiful rendition of the classic hymn with just clear vocals and a single guitar. The performers are surrounded by Christmas trees all lit up around the stage, and it is a magical sight. The singer Gabby Barrett is an American country music artist, and she was the third finalist on the sixteenth season of American Idol. As for the Christmas hymn ‘Silent Night,’ it was first sung on Christmas Eve 1818, in the church of St. Nicholas in Oberndorf near Salzburg. The words of ‘Silent Night’ were written by Rev. Joseph Mohr, a young priest in Oberndorf. He wrote them in 1816 as a reflection on peace after a summer of violence in Salzburg. Two years later, Joseph Mohr asked his friend Franz Xaver Gruber, a schoolteacher and organist, to set his words to music. When Joseph and Franz performed ‘Silent Night’ for the first time in 1818 at Christmas Eve Mass, it was an instant hit. The Christmas carol has now been translated into over 300 languages, and the first English translation appeared in New York City in 1851. We hope that you enjoyed listening to this video of country star Gabby Barrett singing ‘Silent Night’ this holiday season! Matthew 2:11 And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

Tear-Jerking 'Christmas Shoes' Duet From Husband And Wife Duo

Get ready for the goosebumps as husband and wife, Caleb + Kelsey, sing ‘Christmas Shoes.’ Christian group NewSong released the touching song in 2000. Since that time, this special tune has sparked a book and a television movie. The song tells the story of a man doing some last-minute Christmas shopping. While he’s standing in line to checkout, a little boy steps up to the cashier with a pair of shoes. As he counts out his money, the boy realizes that he does not have enough. That is when he shares the heartbreaking reason he needs them right now. ‘Sir, I want to buy these shoes for my mama, please It's Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size Could you hurry, sir, daddy says there's not much time’ Caleb and Kelsey Grimm are an incredibly talented married duo. Known by their stage name, Caleb + Kelsey, these two Christian vocalists have given us brilliant worship covers and secular favorites such as ‘Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)’ and ‘My Heart Will Go On.’ Their videos have garnered hundreds of thousands of views across social media and they continue to use their God-given talents to sing praises to His Name. Today, they are singing the heart-wrenching Christmas song ‘Christmas Shoes.’ And when you hear these words as a duet, you’ll have chills all over. ‘I knew I'd caught a glimpse of heaven's love As he thanked me and ran out I knew that God had sent that little boy To remind me just what Christmas is all about’ Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

9-Year-Old's Wedding Speech Leaves The Bride And Groom In Tears

A nine-year-old’s wedding speech leaves the bride and groom in tears. It was such a sweet, precious, and touching moment, you don’t want to miss this video especially when you learn the reasons behind this heartfelt toast. You see, when Gus found out his sister had gotten engaged, he said his feelings became complicated. He was worried now that his favorite big sister Catie Hudson was getting married, she wouldn’t spend as much time with him. "I was worried that she wouldn't spend as much time with me as she used to," he said. "So it was really stressful in that way because I didn't want to lose her,” Gus said. Even though more than two decades separate the siblings in age, they are extremely close. He loves spending time with her and they have a bond that goes incredibly deep. That is, until the wedding. Everything was going as planned until the wedding toasts when Gus got up and spoke from the heart. His lips quivered and tears filled his eyes as this sweet little brother took the microphone and spoke directly to his sister and new brother-in-law. "I'm so happy that you guys got married today. And I know I might seem a little sad up here, but these are tears of joy. Catie, I love you so much and I'm so happy you gave me a brother-in-law," Gus said. The new bride was in utter shock. She couldn’t believe Gus had made the most incredibly sweet wedding toast. Later when he was asked why he said what he said, Gus commented that you shouldn’t let fear drive you away from your family. He said, "Don't let that separate you because you deep down love them and they deep down love you.” That is certainly toast-worthy advice. May Catie and Gus always continue to be the best of friends on top of being siblings. If you ask me, Catie is beyond blessed to have such a sweet and wise little brother! “Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14

Firefighters Rush To Save Trapped Man In Sinking Car

There is nothing quite like watching real heroes in action. In this video, firefighters rush to save a trapped man in a sinking car. In this dramatic clip, we see a car in a lake that is sinking and the doors are unable to be opened. Brave firefighters arrive and one swims up to the car to remove the door. One man shouts, “you are going to be ok!” In an amazing sovereign placement of God, there were firefighters filming a training video on a boat when the car went off the parking lot at a marina. Instead of practice, these individuals dove straight into a real-life emergency. A rescue diver communicates in the water next to the window, as the fireman busts through the passenger window with a shovel. They tell the man to get his seatbelt off and to get out of the vehicle. The amazing men and women pull the trapped man out of his car and onto their boat. After they rescue him, the car sinks under the water completely. Medical workers come to his aid and the man is reportedly doing just fine. We also see a tow truck pulling the submerged car out of the water. This video of rescue reminds us how helpless we are without Christ. In the midst of our sins, we were sinking, but Jesus came to save us from eternal death and give us eternal life. He is reaching His hand out every day, people just have to accept His gift of salvation and they will be freed just like the man was rescued from the car. This story makes me think about the time when Jesus was walking on water and Peter got out of the boat and began to sink. Jesus pulled him up and got him back on the boat to safety. How has Jesus pulled you out of rough waters recently? “And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, ‘You of little faith, why did you doubt?’” Matthew 14:29-31

Good Samaritan Saves Fox With Box Stuck On Its Head

Argentina is one sweet creature ahead when this good samaritan saves a fox with a box stuck on its head! Occasionally, we see images or videos of wildlife, birds, or fish that have gotten into trouble due to the actions or existence of humans in their environment. Here is one such story. Watch as the fox runs around in circles, colliding at times with a clump of brush in his path. He can’t see, because his neck and head have become trapped inside a milk carton that was evidently left laying on the ground. There is no indication of how long he’s been in this predicament, but the little guy’s desert home doesn’t look particularly friendly. It’s sure that he wouldn’t survive long with his head lodged in a box. Luckily, a savior discovers the fox in distress in time. Watch as the gentleman approaches the scared fox. He is prepared with gloves, but there may still be risks involved in this rescue. The man secures the fox in his hands and eases him to the ground where he can more easily loosen the box. Once in position, he gently tears the cardboard and works the box free. The fox seems a little stunned for a moment but is quickly ready to be on the move. He’s not quite in the clear yet, though. There are still box remnants around the fox’s neck. Our hero again delicately pulls the paper away from the squirming animal. Now, the mission is complete, and Mr. Fox can be on his way! We people often don’t do the right thing. Sometimes, it’s out of ignorance or a lack of consideration. Sometimes, it is an act of just plain meanness. However, we people sometimes make things right. This kind man corrected a problem caused by another. He literally cleaned up someone else’s mess! The foxy fellow who was saved certainly felt amazing, but the champion of this story felt pretty swell, too. He’s pleased with the good deed done, as well he should be! Thanks, sir, for taking the time to do the right thing when it’s so often easier not to! “Anyone who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.” Job 6:14

Walker Hayes Keeps Christmas Promise To Kids After 'Fancy Like' Hits Number One

Rising country music star Walker Hayes proves that he’s a dad first and foremost when he keeps his Christmas promise to his kids after “Fancy Like” hits number one! Walker is an American Music Award nominee, a devoted father to six kids, and a real and regular guy! Adison Haager with Taste of Country shares, in this video, a sweet holiday story that’s sure to kick your Christmas season off with a smile! Born in 1979 in Alabama, Walker met his wife Laney Beville Hayes when they were in elementary school. The couple celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary this year, and they are the parents of a good-looking bunch of kids: Lela, Chapel, Baylor, Beckett, Everly, and Loxley. It’s the eldest, daughter Lela, who helped bring her dad’s catchy Applebee’s anthem to the masses and the number one spot on the country music charts! Walker and Lela choreographed a dance for Dad’s song. They put it on TikTok, and it went viral. Their front-porch performance has been viewed nearly 33 million times! Here are a few lines from Walker’s chart-topper: Yeah, we fancy like Applebee's on a date night Got that Bourbon Street steak with the Oreo shake Get some whipped cream on the top too Two straws, one check, girl, I got you Walker’s road to a number one song hasn’t been easy or fast. He shares that six or seven years ago, when he was making very little progress in his career, his kids asked for “Christmas blow-ups” for the yard. He had to tell the kids that lights were all they could manage. However, without much thought, Walker also told his brood that if he ever got a number one hit, he’d get them blow-ups. Well, guess what! Walker’s kids remembered that promise and held him to his word. Before Thanksgiving arrived, the Hayes kids and Mom Laney had each picked out an inflatable from the local Lowe’s. Santa, Frosty, The Grinch—they are all there gracing the lawn and rooftop of Walker Hayes’s home! Walker and his family have endured hardships along the way. He and Laney lost a baby girl in 2018, and Walker’s father died in 2021. But, it’s his family that provides strength, and his hard work that is paying off in Walker’s music career. While Walker did not take home the AMA, the future looks very bright for this music man… who is also a very successful family man! “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Mesmerizing Time-Lapse Shows Bubble Freezing Seconds After Forming

Want to be amazed? Watch this mesmerizing time-lapse that shows a bubble freezing only seconds after forming! We have probably all seen cartoons where stuff freezes immediately in super cold weather. So it’s kind of a bummer when that doesn’t happen in real life. Or anything close to it. But this video may be the satisfaction that we all need, and I promise it’s more amazing than you could imagine! With a straw and soapy liquid, Heather Hinam, a science teacher in Canada, blows a bubble onto some snow. For just a split second you think, “Cool...a bubble?” Then, the magic begins. The see-through soap ball starts crystalizing right in front of your eyes! It looks too beautiful to be real! And technically natural! Although the ice crystals are natural, you may not find a concoction like this in the wild. Heather found the little experiment on Instagram and mixed warm water, dish soap, corn syrup, and sugar. And apparently, a bunch of science happens and BAM! Crystalized bubble. Obviously, this is on a cold winter day, much below freezing. So don’t think you can run outside to recreate it as soon as you see snow falling. I will definitely try it whenever the temperatures drop! Honestly, I can stop watching this video. I’m simply in awe of the beauty that God has created. The beauty in the tiniest, obscure things like a freezing bubble, to the grandest mountains and valleys. Try to admire the beauty of His creations every single day! For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:16-17

Husband And Wife Sing 'Mary, Did You Know?' Duet

Caleb and Kelsey Grimm bring the chills with this stunning rendition of ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ It took over 7 years for Mark Lowry, the songwriter, to perfect the lyrics to this song. The idea came to Lowry when he was writing a Christmas program for Jerry Falwell and he started thinking about what he would ask Mary if she was sitting right in front of him. He wondered how she must have felt when the angel told her she would birth a child of God. Then, he put together the questions that eventually became the lyrics we all know and love today. ‘Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God’ Caleb and Kelsey Grimm are an incredibly talented married duo. Today, they are reminding us of the real reason for the season with this chilling rendition of ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ ‘Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations? Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect lamb? That sleeping child you're holding is the great I am’ Luke 1:30-31 ““And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.”

He normally makes his money through music, but when shelter-at-home orders were given during the COVID-19 health crisis, it meant Colt was out of work. Even their mom is a part of the group as the videographer and photographer for the band.
